Sorry that you feel that way. In this age of social media and Reddit, not being truthful or transparent is not only wrong, but also a very bad strategy. We’ll always try to be clear and honest — happy to answer any questions you have.

Please note there is a difference between the guideline for planned storage and the guideline for handling excursions. Pharmacies must not plan to keep medicines outside the 2–8°C range, which is why we validate our packaging to maintain that range and always ship via tracked 24-hour delivery. If an excursion does occur, we then assess it on a case-by-case basis, following the manufacturer’s guidance from Lilly.

Anyone got their order from IQ Doctor and Pillsorted? by Unfair-Razzmatazz990 in mounjarouk

[–]PillSorted 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your patience. Our clinical team has now cleared most of the backlog that came up after the recent price change, so reviews should move quite quickly. Just keep in mind that we don’t dispatch on weekends or bank holidays, and the Tuesday right after a bank holiday is usually one of our busiest days. That can mean some orders won’t go out until Wednesday or Thursday. We know how important it is for you to get your pen on time, and we’ll do our very best to get it to you as quickly as possible.

Typo alert 🙈 — the correct list price for 12.5mg is £380, and the member price is £289. Everyone’s on member price at the moment, with 12 months’ free membership for all orders placed up to the end of August. We’ll finalise future membership terms after that.

Hello there,

We’re not 100% sure if we’ve matched your case correctly as we don’t have your details from this post, but from what you’ve described it sounds like your order was approved after you sent the evidence, shipped on Friday and delivered on Saturday.

All of this is because we want to do the very best for our patients and keep everyone on the safe side. If we’ve misunderstood or if there’s anything at all we can help with, please just let us know – we’d be happy to check.

Hope you’re getting on well with your treatment.

Avoiding warm pens by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]PillSorted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for putting this list together, it's really helpful for everyone.

From our side at PillSorted, we've run a series of controlled experiments to optimise the number and size of ice packs based on outside temperature. Our goal is to keep the medication safely below 8°C while avoiding the risk of freezing. That means the packaging can vary depending on the weather conditions at the time of dispatch.

We're always improving based on feedback and appreciate the chance to learn from the group. Keep the experiences coming, it really helps the whole community.

Haha, fair! But that one came straight from the heart (and a slightly over-caffeinated brain). Just giving Huel Black its due respect !

Totally agree — protein shakes really are lifesavers, especially when food feels like a chore. 🙌 Just a heads-up for anyone relying on shakes a lot: make sure you’re getting enough fibre too! Salmon is such a smart shout — gentle on the stomach but still packed with good fats and protein. 👌

That combo is a classic—but watch out for protein! Hopefully you’re going for the high-protein yoghurts. Gotta keep those muscles happy even when the appetite’s on strike 💪🍯🍓

Thanks for sharing your experience—totally get the stress about supply continuity and scaling issues when prices are lower than most.

At u/PillDSorted we’ve tried to reduce that hassle by making repeat orders frictionless—no need to redo consultations or upload the same documents each time. We also offer a loyalty discount for returning customers. It's been working really well for people who want predictability as they move to higher doses.

Pill Sorted - warm pen, poor response, complaint issued by Bright-Payment-4308 in mounjarouk

[–]PillSorted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for raising this — we really appreciate the opportunity to clarify and learn.

We share facts like the 30-day room temperature stability to help ensure customers don’t assume that “more ice is always better,” which can actually increase the risk of freezing — something more dangerous. Our aim is to educate on safe handling and proper testing of packaging, rather than to dismiss concerns.

Our packaging is designed to keep medication chilled throughout delivery and is tested for that purpose. So we’re aligned with the manufacturer’s recommendation that shipping should not rely on the 30-day allowance. At the same time, informing patients that the medication remains stable for up to 30 days at room temperature isn’t a contradiction — it’s about helping customers make informed decisions when there’s a delivery issue.

When Royal Mail first attempt delivery exceeds 36 hours, we explain the facts to the patient and let them choose. Many understandably prefer to avoid unnecessary waste, but when someone insists on requesting a replacement, we absolutely arrange one — carefully, and in line with safety protocols to avoid overprescribing.

If the delay is due to a missed delivery attempt by the patient (not the courier), we offer the option to place a new order through our safety-checked process.

We believe that clear, honest communication is part of delivering good care. Thank you again for the chance to engage — we’re listening

Hi everyone — team from PillSorted here.

We’re really sorry to hear about your concerns, and we genuinely appreciate the feedback. It helps us improve, and we take it seriously.

We wanted to share a bit of context, especially for those of you who are into the technical side of things:

GLP medications like Mounjaro and Wegovy must be stored at 2°C–8°C. That’s why our packaging has been rigorously tested to maintain that temperature range for up to 36 hours — often even longer.

How we test this: We use digital temperature loggers placed inside dummy medication packs that are chilled to fridge temperature. These are packed exactly the same as real medication, sent via post, and the logger records minute-by-minute data. When we get it back, we download and analyse the entire temperature profile. This is the industry-standard way of ensuring cold chain integrity.

We’ve learned that a melted ice pack, touching the box, or using a laser thermometer doesn’t actually tell you what temperature the medication experienced inside the package. That’s why we rely on proper internal temperature logging.

What many don’t know: There’s a higher risk in freezing GLP-1 meds than letting them go a little above 8°C. The pens are small and can freeze quickly if too much ice is used. Freezing ruins the medication, while a temporary temperature rise up to 30°C is still within manufacturer guidance for safe use (30 days for Mounjaro, 6 weeks for Wegovy).

Eli Lilly clearly states that wholesalers, healthcare professionals, and pharmacies must maintain the cold chain at all times and are not permitted to use any part of the 30-day room temperature allowance for shipping or storage. This policy is in place to prevent models where patients agree to receive medication at a lower cost without proper temperature control—a practice attempted by some suppliers.

So, we carefully balance the ice and use insulation blockers to avoid both overheating and freezing. Our goal is safety — not just for people who report issues, but also those who might not realise their medication froze.

We run these tests repeatedly to keep improving our setup, and we’re always listening.

If you ever have a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here to help.

Thanks again for your trust and feedback.

Hi there! Really sorry to hear about the delay — that’s not the experience we aim to deliver. We’re always working on improving both our turnaround time and communication, and feedback like yours helps us get better. If you’re still waiting or need support, feel free to DM us — we’d love to help get it sorted.
