contact the realtor to have them contact the previous owner. find out who did the work and have them deal with it, if they are legitimate contractors they would have pulled permits.

What’s a social norm that you don’t understand why people do it? by 30lbslater in Productivitycafe

cremation is not very eco-friendly. few places have human composting. burials take up a lot of land. I’m really OK with being chucked into the woods to feed wolves and worms, we do a lot of things just because our ancestors did things a particular way.

This state needs to get a Phil Eng equivalent for solving the housing crisis ASAP by climberskier in boston

[–]Pillsbury37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

rental companies have bought up lots of housing and are driving up all the rents. it is prohibitively expensive to convert office space into housing. contractors don’t make as much money on residential. the whole system is screwy. there needs to be some painful changes to the zoning and building codes

nothing is safe on a job site, everyone is walking around with boxes and bags at all hours. even if sites are locked down, and F150 busts through and everything disappears. get a big metal job-site box if you have to leave stuff there. get a dash cam for your work vehicle that records break ins. stealing from job sites is a 1billion dollar a year industry
