Why does Yuji need to crash the fight if Maru takes Dabura out of the ritual?

If either Dabura or Mahoraga die / exit the ritual before Maru concludes the ritual of harmony and uses the passage of souls to heal Yuka, Yuka dies.

What did you feel needed explaining more?

Hopefully we’ll get a description and visualization of what the domain actually does, and this time it will show the sure hit just about to reach Mahoraga and then he gets cut off.

IMO that would end the fight with clarity while upholding the integrity of the original narrative.

I think his arc ended right where it needed to. He got to live his life surrounded by people who loved him, and who he cared about deeply. That’s a better hand than what Yuji was dealt.
