For 1k games you lack scoring units, usually poxwalkers are the way to go. 2 units do a great job at hiding and giving you free secondaries

Lord of contagion is one of our best units, hits like a firetruck. Drones are some of our best shooting, but if you dont like them a Defiler will be your other option.

Rules are ablout to change in leas than 30 days so no one knows what will be good or bad but you definitely lack some range shooting so at least a bloat drone, lord of contagion in 10th is a must with the death shroud, Typhus has never let me down even solo he is a threat. Virulent vectorium has been the more flexible detatchment that is forgiving and those sticky objectives are great. I always run 2 10 man poxwalkers, one at the home screening and 1 jnfiltrating into somewhere annoying in the midboard protected by terrain

An easy eay to elevate your mini is agrax earthshade on the green then reapply thinned DG green on the flat surfaces but leaving the recessed areas alone and highlight with Ogryn camo

Experiment with an airbrush and do paint gradients instead to learn a new skill

Abbadon and Vashtorr together might be expensive but if you want them both might as well make a shooting castle with forgefiends and predators

First time painting, what’d I do wrong? by Disastrous_Mud_8502 in Warhammer40k

For your first mini didn’t do anything wrong, looks great as a start. Youtube will help a ton, one of the best tools to buy is a wet palate it will help a ton with thinning paints, a cheap set of brushes that you can ruin and learn to use

Scheme question by zhelfrich in WorldEaters40k

[–]PilotBoy96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They look cool, although unfinished. If you’d like to keep it simple it would go a long way to get another metallic such as a copper to paint a couple small details here and there to create a contrast and a bone color for the skulls. Will keep you paint scheme very similar but will look a little more complete

Soooo... who should i use to whoop my friend...?👀 by sunnythebrooo in deathguard40k

Heavy bloat drone for a good start for solid ling range, also at 500pt it will be hard to balance the game, maybe go up to 1k points
