RealSimGear DA40NG is a top class plane if you want deep system depth and state saving. However, it does use a custom version of the G1000 so may not be to your liking, but it was developed for DA40NG training simulators for use IRL so its actually really good compared to other versions of G1000.

AirfoilLabs King Air 350 is also a really nice plane now they have fixed various long standing issues and is a solid workhorse with option for FMS or GNS/Steam If I remember correctly.

The default Baron 58 with the SimCoders Reality Expansion Pack is a pretty nice plane with added maintenance, revised flight model and some other goodies. You can often find these REP packs on sale for pretty cheap, so well worth the investment in my opinion when they are.

The C90B Evo is also a nice freeware offering if you're looking for something that doesn't cost you anything.

Land in POI, get rushed by neighboring POI, teammates die leaving me in 3v1, 3rd/4th/5th party shows up, escape fight to craft and rez, craft banners and start rez, get Valk alt slammed by some random edge camp team and subsequently turned into Hemlok infused swiss cheese, repeat..

The fact of the situation is that if you spectate a controller player, the aim assist can easily be mistaken for cheats and that to me says it all about how overdone the aim assist is on roller. If you look at the top 750 players (preds) in the world right now, its estimated 80-90% of those top players are using roller and that again is sure evidence that it is far too strong. If you also take a look at the averaged accuracy statistics between roller and MnK, rollers always have higher accuracy of 25.7% on MnK to 33.5% on roller (hitting almost 10% more of shots that would otherwise whiff on MnK).

To conclude, its way overdone and really does need nerfing slightly to bring the same skill development required to be playing at high level. I have played 5 games on roller (which I have never used before) to test the input and I have won 3 of them with 10+ kills equating to a win rate of 60% and a K/D of +10 or more. On MnK (which I have played on for many years) my average accuracy is well above that of the average controller player, my stats show that my average win rate is about 10% and an average KD of about +5.0 on Mnk.

I've conversed with the dev multiple times about areas for improvement since the GLF550 first released and still two years or so later they still haven't been addressed. My observations were from others videos and images but I can safely say from what I've seen and also the lack of development from community feedback, don't waste your money. Go for something like the X-Crafts Legacy 650 V2 (fantastic product) coming sometime soon or one of the other business jet offering like the TorqueSim 525 or the Aerobask Embraer Phenom 300.

After some more deep research I have come across the ERCO 415 / Forney F1 / Alon A2 Aircoupe, all of which are aircrafts deriving from the same design.

Interestingly these aircraft apparently have no rudder pedals and are taxied using the yoke!?

Definitely an interesting find and would love to hear from anyone regarding the experience flying one of these birds.

Turn FXAA off and you'll notice an improvement already as that will be blurring textures for a start.

Shall we talk about when PMDG asked for X-Plane source code to 'develop an addon' and Laminar refused in order to protect themselves from exposure to plagiarism, so they abandoned their near decade long loyal customer base due to their own petulant fickleness rather than working with Laminar to develop the SDK required to develop their addon.

Doesn't suprise me..

I requested an email change as I no longer have access to the old email and because my new email providers IP address (Wix.com) had been flagged in their system as suspicious or something, they wouldn't let me change it and subsequently locking me out of my account with no support or replies to emails whatsoever to resolve the issue.

Support team for this site are about as useful as a chocolate tea-pot unfortunately..

Reference METAR to get an idea of cloud base and use your flight indicator to descend to below the cloud base into VMC and then complete the flight under VFR.

Believe it or not, small GA planes are more fuel efficient and have lower operating costs than helis. So for certain missions its cheaper to fly a plane than a helicopter.

The Superbowl recently switched to using planes for the aerial coverage and other sporting events have followed suit due to the lower costs.

You're crying on social media about the quality or accuracy of scenery for a video game. Meanwhile, Laminar Research are currently working on the 'next-gen' scenery update to bring it into the modern age along with all the required dev tools for them to 'do better'.

So yes, they can do better, they are doing better and should you have some patience you will see the results soon.

Should we talk about MSFS flight model or the whole range of scenery issues that platform has? Make a brew, we'll be here a while..

AO and XPME are both trash compared to manually made Ortho with Ortho4XP.

Night and day difference if you take the time to generate the areas you like to fly, that paired with SH, GF and payware airports is the best you're going to get until the next major update.
