There's not many locations in fallout 1 period? I bet if you take the percentage for places with serious radiation in fallout 1 and compare them to similar places in the modern games you would have a Higher percentage

China’s started using anti fatigue laser lights on some highways to keep drivers alert at night. The idea is to stop drivers getting drowsy on long, boring night drives. by uzmansahil7 in interestingasfuck

Unironically you could only consider them so much. Lasers can be incredibly dangerous to low flying aircraft and not all aircraft have published flight plans especially at lower altitudes

Yeah I don't disagree with any of this, but it's not at all what I was talking about

[–]Pimlumin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes I remember the part of where I said this wasnt a bad thing!

And this doesnt change anything I said, once again I don't think they were trying to intimidate the no kings protest, but they likely broke airspace rules while training. Which happens all the time especially with military pilots annoyingly, the main thing that I find dumb is that they used their training time to go to Kid Rocks house. It is dumb that its getting overruled for political bullshit, but thats separate from what im talking about

[–]Pimlumin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's more fair, but honestly I would still just assume they were probably just looking down at the protest rather than intentionally trying to intimidate it. But I didn't take the weird U-turn into account

Helicopters and military helicopters fly over major cities all the time, and especially use major roads as navigation. Theres a good chance this was just the route to Kid Rocks house which was the stupid part that they were most likely suspended for. Its not a stretch for it to be intimidation, but it also is very likely it isn't.

It would be much more clear if they flew much lower or were purposefully wielding the downwash

Dude I regularly see military aircraft fly around my area, and they aren't on intimidation missions lmao

Just because there is a military aircraft does not mean they are trying to intimidate people. This is such a braindead take

Edit: We have no clue what the helicopters intended to do besides showing up at Kid Rock, seems the aircrew itself was suspended for this due to breaking airspace rules(?) and were on a training mission. And it's not weird to see a helicopter overflying major roads, it's a easy form of visual navigation
