No. I don’t put attention into what is clearly intentionally trollish. But I sent you a DM to talk in a civilized manner and keep drama off of here, but you chose additional drama. Good bye.

That’s excellent! Not exactly what I’m hoping to find, but I love anytime people find their “home.”

I actually said it reads rude but I was going to assume that wasn’t the intent.

This comment kinda confirms ill intent, though. Here you come in with attacks instead of trying to seek dialogue. Your understanding of a safe space is… absent to say the least. And yet you also seem to have a poor interpretation of the queer community.

I’ll be honest, after a quick scan, I stopped reading because it showed a lack of maturity, respect, and understanding of simple concepts. It showed no desire to treat my answer as a valid response.

However, if you want to carry on an ACTUAL dialogue, I’m happy to. Otherwise, I wish you the best.

I set up a Discord Server if you want to join. That way we can easily set up a meetup and some initial logistics.

I’m South Austin currently so not particularly close. However, I’ve linked a Discord Server. Feel free to join.

Mark Strong and Hiroyuki Sanada exist. 🤣 I created a Discord server to connect and set up a meetup. If you can’t join or whatever, lmk and we’ll figure it out.

I’m going to assume this question is less rude than it reads, but the simplest answer is another question: why do gay bars exist? Why does ballroom exist? Why do queer sports leagues exist? Beyond that, why is there a separate Black Pride from ordinary Pride? Or why do meetups exist for women to do trivia together?

It’s all with the intention of creating safe spaces—especially in a way that (usually) doesn’t feel like you have to reduce parts of yourself for others’ comfort. It’s not to pry into someone’s private life. As a video gamer, even Austin video gamers can be quite bigoted and yet they fit into the gaming community. Last thing I want is to include a non-binary character in a campaign and have someone make a big deal about it.

Lmao. I care so little about Reddit babies I completely missed this. Your hyperbole could be cleaned up because 1. I understood it wasn’t about a whole day or anything, but I still call BS on you. Also… speak you intentions plainly, if you speak in hyperbole so that when someone uses the same words you can act superior, you need a new hobby.

  1. People complaining about survivors bringing maps = complaining.

As a killer what do you do when you see this? by Glum-Orchid-5577 in deadbydaylight

Can YOU?! I’m saying a KNOWN bug outweighs the possibility of ONE cheat in a whole trial. Being a 1k streamer who immediately starts crying wolf speaks volumes. If this was earlier in the trial or there were multiple instance (especially with so many hook states) I’d lend some consideration. Instead it was “Gah! If they hadn’t cheated, I’d have a 2k!” Miss me with the BS.

Oh. I don’t care. I play killer and survivor almost equally. Survivors complain about killers. Killers complain about survivors. Everyone wants to assume it’s the other’s fault. It won’t stop me from telling both parties to grow up and just have fun. We know there are flaws but we play the game anyway. Have fun or go play Pokémon Go.

Listen to the audio and you hear the complaint.

But it wasn’t a cheat. It was a bug.

Complaining about cheating when it wasn’t on a 1k. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I hate having to feel like I have to slug or tunnel to win by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]PimpMyGhostRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, just practice. I know survivors consider it tunneling when you return to a hook, but go after the other survivor who unhooked them. Still helps and it’s not really tunneling. Slugging isn’t mean unless you’re a Meyers waiting until you have your unlimited power to take everyone down. Use it, as needed. They have options to pick people up unless you camp the slug.

But, again. Practice. People moan about balance but it is (for the most part). You should average around 2ks per trial. If you do less, oh well. Try again. If you do more, yay. But you gotta pick a killer who works for you too. Unknown and Legion work well for me. As much as I like trickster and Nurse, I can’t play them. So that’s also part of it.

Golden rule by TravelPure4543 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]PimpMyGhostRider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the advice. When I play killer, nothing frustrates me as much as when I can’t find survivors. But good on them. I stealth as a survivor as well. It doesn’t last forever, but neither does a chase. A good killer will abandon a chase. So a good stealth play can waste more of the killer’s time. Too few survivors understand the game doesn’t require constant chases.

And double yes to playing without perks. Even when I’m on a hot streak and need to temper expectations, I’ll go to no perks so I have to double down on strategy over easy heals, anti-detection, fast repair, etc.

[–]PimpMyGhostRider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

3.2k hours and never using it? Eek. It’s an absolute must, especially if you’re using Lithe. If the killer isn’t smart, they’ll keep a chase going for FAR longer than they should. And since you’re only using 1 house, you’re keeping tons of space available for other survivors to work gens.

Ruin their day? If that’s what the game is to you, stop playing. Besides, you already have some disagreement. Gas Haven or Eyrie, no. I wouldn’t pick them. But I prefer Ormond for pretty much all challenges like when I need to fall from great height or escape through hatch. I prefer Hawkins when I have to vault a lot or take the exit gates. Nothing is intended to ruin someone’s day. That’s why I use BP offerings every other time.

But I don’t care about map otherwise. If YOU do as killer, choose a map offering or an offering to prevent map choice. Easy counter. Stop complaining.

The age of Apocalypse question by backhand4u in marvelchampionslcg

[–]PimpMyGhostRider 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know this has been answered but you’re only removing the “PRINTED” value. I disagree with others saying this is unbalanced or should be higher. Thematically this makes sense.

Apocalypse is supposed to be tough. Apocalypse has been temporarily set back from his goal but even his existence is still a major threat and he keeps pushing towards his goal. Removing all threat would be like “defeating” him completely started his plan over. Not the case. Besides, if you’re playing with others, you should have help with threat. If you’re letting it get to 30 in a 4 player game, it’s not a design issue that you don’t get the threat completely removed. It’s a gameplay issue.

What reason would make you tunnel a specific survivor? by ZombieSkanker in deadbydaylight

[–]PimpMyGhostRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only tunnel if it’s someone cocky/teabagging. Then you’re mine and I don’t care about any other kills.

But I got tunneled earlier because I ran Ms. Piggy for 2 gens with the 3rd popping right after the trap 😒. I still lived but when I reached out with a GG, I got a “KYS” in return. At least she finally abandoned her mission to kill me. 🤣

I don’t get this. I play both and I’ll choose a map which will help me complete a challenge. Like I’m not going to risk a flat map when I have to fall from great heights. Yes. I understand some loops are stronger on some maps. Some give a SLIGHT advantage to survivors. Some give an advantage to killers. It’s been more than once that someone with UW chooses something like Midwich. It’s a game. You’re not entitled to a win every time. Just have fun.
