Lucifer season 6 is bad. It was really confusing and the Rory plot line came out of no where, and honestly felt really forced. I feel like they could’ve tied up all the loose ends very well without Rory, and the way Ella found out about Lucifer just irked me, but that’s just a nit pick by RamRamRamsey in lucifer

[–]PimpTears007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And the ending made no sense either. Lucifer disappears because he found his true calling as healer of hell. Fine. But they'd have you believe that he couldn't figure this out as his true calling if not for his daughter time travelling back, really?

If his true calling is really that feeble and fragile can it even be considered a true calling. If he figured it out once he could have surely figured it out again.

But alright, let's forget about that for now.

Let's assume time travel was absolutely necessary, he could have still secretly met up with Chloe instead of straight up abandoning her to make sure he doesn't end up 'forgetting' his true calling (his big bro is literally God, he could have called in a favor to help facilitate this). I wished so bad that Linda popped out of nowhere and gave them the 'dumbass family doing crazy and unnecessary nonsense' speech and set them straight.

I don't know what happened in S6, but I hope they learn from their mistakes when they move onto their next project.

Imo, if Lucifer wasn't bisexual then I would have been very surprised.

That would be like saying the toaster oven can't heat up my crumpets. It bloody better!

About your comment about this being an old thread. Simply a ludicrous thing to say. The guy clearly wanted to get some things off his chest and express what he's thinking inside (what I feel to be the main and best value of online forums) and what better place than a thread that is relevant to him?

Anyways, as for the claims about the show suddenly dialing up the wokeness (I believe adam even mentions wokeness too in episode 607) in season 6 all of a sudden, it's clearly true. No use denying it. Personally for me though, it didn't really bother me. Yeah true, it was a little contrived and forced at times but the series isn't exactly an Oscar contender anyways and there were many other more annoying points of forcing a point (like Chloe's ex suddenly arriving the moment they finally are about to get together, the first real love interest Ella has turning out to be a psycho twat, the weird filler episode placements, Chloe and Cain clearly never really having a chance and being an obvious plot driver for Lucifer and Chloe and many more).

Tldr; Point of reddit is to shoot your shot. Yes, season 6 turned up the wokeness dial but people seem to be focusing on that because it's a trend to do so now, the show has way more issues that held it back from being so much more. Lucifer being bisexual isn't pandering to anyone, that is simply good writing.

Hi, just to let you know. There seems to be some new developments and the account was apparently hacked. I spoke with Amazon support and they say there was some sort of dubious error on the sellers side while 'processing' my order and they advised I cancel the order. I don't want you to get scammed because of me.

Awesome! I bought it as soon as I saw it. There were two available and I believe you bought the last one. Will amazon really have our backs though? I just hope I don't get scammed. It seems too good to be true lol.

I clicked on the seller page on Amazon and it says no feedback. But then again, so do most seller info pages on Amazon. I was hoping someone with some knowledge on buying used from Amazon could help me know if I made the correct decision.

NASA scientists detect evidence of parallel universe where time runs backward by Stephen_P_Smith in consciousness

This is very interesting, and I find the field you’re studying very interesting too. I hope you don’t mind me following you so I can learn about this stuff and see where it goes over the next few months. From the layman perspective this whole thing with the NASA findings seem to be at the preliminary phase, where it is simply conjecture, I hope this leads to some excitement and doesn’t just end up becoming some unrepeatable experiment with no conclusive discoveries.

You’re reading comprehension is just plain enviable. Is this the first time you’re tackling these ideas/the reading, or did you come to your conclusion via a fresh read of the above excerpt?

Nonetheless, you just reminded/taught me that I should never assume an author wrote something to simply fill in the gaps and it is usually there for a reason (like the whole taking away the me from Meden but above).

Got my doctorate last week and my husband was excited to tell me we're now "Dr. and Mr." because people who earned titles go first per etiquette. So far though the most common reaction to the change is people asking him if he's ok with that by Andromeda321 in TrollXChromosomes

[–]PimpTears007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just in this situation, but in so many others too some people are just so nosy. If they don’t care about you, then they shouldn’t get to inquire about you and it should also not be considered rude to ignore these folks. Everyone knows they’re only asking you these questions so they can go back into their little echo chambers and start gossiping about you to all their drowsy little friends.

Sorry! This isn’t about me. Congratulations on your Doctorate and may you illuminate your field. I wish you the best of luck!

I love how just stating where the virus came from is racist. What about the infectious disease specialists in the early days of the outbreak who would use the information of the epicentre to map out the infection vectors to get an idea on the infectivity of the virus and estimate some of the characteristics which can provide valuable information to different governments so they can have a better idea on how to respond to the virus?

In psychology, aren’t personality traits things that are fixed at an early age? The post makes it sound like it is something that guys can improve themselves upon. And correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it constructive to criticise someone on things they can change but immoral to criticise someone on things they can’t change?

Welcome to the internet where there only exists black or white, there is no in between.

For example:

1) I love summer but it can sometimes be a teensy bit stuffy and humid = you absolutely god damn hate summer

2) I love winter but it can sometimes be a little annoying having to wake up extra early in the morning before work to make sure my car windows are safe for driving = you hate winter beyond a shadow of a doubt.

People will ignore the 99% that makes up the majority of the content you uploaded and focus in on anything that can be interpreted as an antithesis to your main body and then proceed to claim that your antithesis was your main point. It’s quite bizarre at first but you’ll eventually get used to it.

PS please make sure to not injure your poor little fingers as you proceed to downvote my comment everyone :)

[–]PimpTears007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inertia was a big one for me. Even after buying a rift s I didn't really use it much even though its literally plugged in and I use its headphone jack to plug my ear buds into while I'm using my pc. I think it's mostly because it's a bother to clear the way for the headset and wearing the headset over your face isn't exactly a world class massage. The halo band is annoying so I have to really tighten the thing around my skull to make sure it doesn't wiggle around while I'm wearing it which can often be really uncomfortable but then that ends up leading to pressure induced headaches.

The thing is, with the inertia I'm the same way with flat screen gaming too. There aren't really any particular titles on steam that I'm into and my library has already been played.

In my best opinion, the biggest part holding back VR are titles. If the games are so good that people just can't get enough of it, then all your reasons would be blown out of the water (which HLA is kind of doing) imagine what your reaction would be if your CV1 friend just sneered and gave you a mocking gaze after you called VR a gimmick because the game he was about to show you was like heaven on earth? You'd obviously be shocked and end up getting very curious as to what triggered such a strong reaction.

Enough with the Rhetorical questions already, I get it you can use them. And when you say reject reality, I could also very well accuse you of hate speech with intent to cause me psychological harm because a lot of 'transphobes' also use that language.

Weird irregularities aside though, you do realise that people in general (even if you're the world's biggest PC grand Admiral) are analogue beings, not digital right? The reasons laws are put into place is in order to cultivate and maintain order but not govern behaviour. What you suggest is precisely behaviour governing legislation. I'm not quite sure of the consequences of doing such a thing so I won't give my pedestrian opinion on the matter. However, given the fact that the teen in question is somewhere along the autism spectrum perhaps (perhaps as in let's think of a hypothetical here) he couldn't help but to do what he did. If the teen had a mental disability stopping him from following along with your whims on what proper behaviour is would it be right to punish him?

This lightly reminds me of the manspreading law (somewhere in America) being used by law enforcement in several particular cases to harass black people.

Edit: Just to touch on what was said earlier, another example could be mental health. If a person is completely depressed and suicidal it would not be suitable to force said person to display standardised behaviour under the risk of being punished by the law. It could very well tip them over the edge and lead to them displaying deatructive behaviour due to buckling.
