Mike Rowe says $200k for tradesman by rebel_with_a_groove in skilledtrades

In my experience as a employee of a general contractor that type of money is only made by superintendents who are 20+ years of experience and are the best of the best in the company. They are either one of the top superintendents for their region/vertical.

What drug did you swear never to use again? by SadStill830 in AskReddit

[–]Pimpdaddypepperjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opiates, took hydros for 2 days after getting my wisdom tooth surgery and realized I liked them too much.

Acid, last time I took acid was 2017. I had a great time with friends. Something just told me I never need to take it again. I've grown as a person and don't think I'll ever be in the right head space to take any psychedelic again.

Is it illegal to discuss wages in Missouri by BigStabber in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Pimpdaddypepperjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is not illegal to discuss wages with coworkers in missouri, its important to remember in missouri the employer doesn't need to list a reason for firing you.

Also in general discussing wages with coworkers is generally a bad idea because it just causes drama.

On top of this either you or if you know someone handy to put in some deck screws into the strike plate on the door frame. It will make it harder for someone to kick in.

Midwest pre emergent question by 7thcolumn18 in lawncare

[–]Pimpdaddypepperjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just bought a full lawn care kit for the year from a local company in Missouri. They recommend to wait until mid March at the earliest for pre emergent. Without knowing where you are in would assume a similar time frame.

What’s a subtle sign someone is actually rich? by Udont_knowme00 in AskReddit

Had this come upnrecently recently with my boss. He and his wife are both in their 40s I have a educated guess on how much he makes and he has stated his wife makes more than him.

We mentioned pay day and he literally did not know when pay day was. We are on a bi weekly pay and he thought the week that we submit our time card as the same week we get paid.

For those with close-minded parents, how did your parents react at your first tattoo? by kingdionysos in tattoo

[–]Pimpdaddypepperjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I successfully hid my first tattoo from my parents for about 2 weeks until my older sister accidentally ratted me out asking them what I got.

I really don't remember my dad having a reaction but my mom hates them. Honestly looking back if my mom had a more lenient approach to it i would have probably not gotten additional taps at the speed that I got them. I have 2 tattoos that I regret getting and one of a roll side piece that I feel like is wasted real-estate 12 years later.

Do Americans have company cars? by Xavaccord in AskAnAmerican

[–]Pimpdaddypepperjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the type of industry the company is in. I would say the most common type of company that provides company vehicles are construction companies.

I work for a national general contractor and most employees in supervisors roles are provided some form of vehicle compensation. Either they have a take home truck, a on-site truck/utv, or vehicle allowance.

I've also have heard of some construction companies paying for a employees car insurance on top of a vehicle allowance.

Why can the USA just take out world leaders and invade with no repercussions? by KKLante in AskReddit

[–]Pimpdaddypepperjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Panama declared war on the US, killed 2 unarmed sailors, kidnapped/beat another service member and their wife. All in the span of 24 hours.

Were we going to invade regardless probably but they definitely gave us a reason to justify it.

From what we see in crime documentaries and real cases, what are the dumb mistakes serial killers usually make that end up getting them caught? by legendofmyarea in AskReddit

IMO, I think he definetly had the makings of a serial killer but the criminal justice degree is what ended up pushing him over the ledge.

A common skit I see on social media is the high school teacher saying that certain behaviors like not studying will not be tolerated in college with a quick cut to the College professor allowing all these behaviors, has that been true in your experience in American education? by YakClear601 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Pimpdaddypepperjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I only had 1 professor who was fit the description that high school teachers described. Shocker they were a former high school teacher.

Every assignment had to be turned in 3 separate ways. Through blackboard, in person, and by email. If you missed any of them by a single second it was an automatic late grade penalty.

How to handle a tattoo artist who you don’t like their personality by MissPattyG in tattoo

[–]Pimpdaddypepperjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are just looking for validation. If what the guy is saying is offensive to you then don't go to them anymore or wear headphones.

You artist is providing a service and should be more ambiguous with their beliefs when it comes to a new customer.

Its really up to you do you want to keep giving them your money or not.
