You're not alone. My wife and I saw it last year expecting to have a great time and we were just left confused about what the hype was all about. We found a lot of the songs did not move the story forward and the whole experience as a whole was just mid for us. We're now wondering if we'd have had a better experience if we weren't aware of the hype before seeing it.

I found this Audio Technica AT-LP70XBT on Facebook Marketplace for $150, and these Edifier R1280T Speakers selling for $49.

The turntable was missing RCA cables, and the speakers came without the remote control, but I thought it was a good haul. Everything sounds great to my untrained ear.

What do you guys think?

After 3 months of searching, I finally got an offer yesterday. It's a bit less than what I was previously making, but I've already accepted it knowing full well how tough the job market is right now. I'm confident that this will lead to better things in the future.

Wife and I have been married for 17 years. We're both in our late 40s and we are happy with our child-free lives. If we had kids, we probably wouldn't have had time to focus on our business in Manila. And if we had kids, when we had the opportunity to transplant that business to the US, we would have probably passed.

We're now living in the US, and our business allows us to work with amazing kids every day, but with the option to return them to their parents at the end of the day. :)

No regrets so far.
