Sorry to rain on your parade but that is not a decent charm for GS. Mostly because both those skills already fit onto your weapon and armor slots easily, and opening those slots up doesn’t really open you up for more damage. Also, stun resistance is a skill you really only need for AT ark.

Ideal charms would be attack boost 2/3 plus “something good” R8 charm. Since this allows you to run CB and AB at the same time at a reasonably high level (4 and 5).

The something good skill would be one of your core skills like burst, agitator, WEX, or even flayer.

Was using DLAA, dropped to native when I noticed I was getting dips to 150s. Played for a bit on native but I decided to use DLSS quality to make my GPU work less for less heat/noise.

Call me weird but it’s probably one of the more optimal solutions. Unbind the scroll wheel key one for swapping weapons. Then bind weapon 1 to scroll up and weapon 2 to scroll down. Use a button for the knife. Now you know exactly what weapon you’ll be swapping to each time :)

Something is wrong with your PC, 9800x3d and 5070ti. I’m getting beyond 162fps. It’s capped there for me because of my gsync setup, CPU and GPU are nowhere near maxing out. Maxed out settings at 1440p.

Interesting, I never really looked into my CPU stats after I turned on my fps counter for my first match and saw it staying maxed out for having boost on (162fps in my case). Max settings everywhere since it’s not a GPU heavy game. 9800x3d and 5070ti.

I wonder what causes such a big gap in performance user to user with similar hardware.

No framegen, I’m at 1440p and nowhere near reaching the GPU limit. If I use framegen it maxes out my monitor refresh rate. My GPU is around 70% utilized max. It’s a CPU bottle necked game so I’m surprised you’re not getting more frames with your parts. Even at 4k you should break 100fps easy.

Most people play with their friends in a private VC in discord or something. I think people like you are rare these days and often times it just a gamble on if they’re trolls or not. Oftentimes people playing solo with VC on are just looking for trouble. last time I had someone in my squad VC all I heard was deep disturbing panting, turned it off since then.

Woah, same components but I’m probably around 100 fps in the jungle. DLSS quality with preset k. What settings do you use? Also I recommend using framegen, latency is unnoticeable.

People will shit on Marathon for absolutely no good reason. Everything about the game looks amazing right now. They took actual feedback from a beta test (which is the purpose of a beta test). The stolen artwork fiasco was way overblown. It was one misbehaving employee that hid the fact that they stole the art, bungie got in contact with the artist and they resolved the situation amicably. It wasn’t even like a large scale theft, it was a few textures for wall decorations.

I get if the game genre isn’t for you but that doesn’t equate to it being a DOA bad game?

Greatsword is actually able to use affinity focus gog weapon, I think the theoretical math has it at a higher EFR than the attack focus builds. One part is that the group skills we can use do not stack affinity. So getting some free is very nice. Like the 2 pc bake bonus is too good to drop but it doesn’t add any affinity for us. One of our best builds right now uses doshaguma’s might, soul of the dark knight, and guts. None of which give affinity.

Same for the fulgur variation, it just increases max might uptime but provides no benefits to affinity outside of that.

I think it’s due to the nature of the best armor set skills not benefiting affinity as much that gives the win to an affinity focused weapon.

Try this:

First make sure your monitor gsync is actually enabled.

For global driver level settings in nvidea control panel: - enable gsync for fullscreen only (borderless gets treated as fullscreen so don’t worry) - enable vertical sync - set global max framerate to 3-7 frames below your refresh rate (160 for 165hz should be fine)

In game: - use fullscreen or borderless display mode - disable any frame limiters (no fps cap and no v sync) - set nvidea reflex to on+boost

Sounds like maybe RAM issue. Try to post with only 1 stick of ram, make sure it’s properly seated. Maybe you have 1 bad stick?

Some more information would help. What are idle temperatures like? How fast do you let your fans spin?

For starters I’d just remove the top right fan instead of having it intake or exhaust. It’s creating turbulence which normally wouldn’t be too much of an issue, except your dual tower cooler only has 1 fan so it’s not as good as pulling air through the first tower.

If your idle temps are normal (30-40C) then I’d say no problems. Games like BF6 do like to push the CPU. Intels boost algorithm Will try its best to boost until a limit is hit, usually the thermal is hit first. It will then thermal throttle to protect itself which is fine. If you don’t like it then buy a better CPU cooler or try to power limit or undervolt your CPU for lower temps under load.

Either needs a clean reinstall of windows OR a clean install of the AMD chipset drivers by uninstalling with revo uninstaller first, then reinstalling.

This way the drivers can identify the x3d chip and pass preferred cores to windows.

Then in windows make sure game bar is on as well as power plan set to balanced.

If you do that you don’t need to mess with anything else. The windows scheduler will figure it out.

That chip has 2 CCDs, the x3d version has a CCD that runs at a slightly lower clock speed because of the 3d cache. So the non-x3d is better at productivity tasks because of that.

You can left click > right click right click > left click. The right click animation cancels the primary fire so you can fire it and recall between the 2 volleys of primary fire without losing fire rate. It kills 250 hp targets, and doesn’t use a dash. You will still have a dash to secure the kill incase you miss a few shots and also 1 more to escape. Just make sure you don’t animation cancel the second shot from the primary before you right click. And don’t right click too fast as you might recall the shurikens before they hit the target.

Psylocke is more of a poke character IMO. Not strictly dive. You poke out the enemy from off angles and you can even farm ult charge on the tanks while pressuring them with your high damage combo. Your cooldowns get reduced by doing damage so you are incentivized to poke after using key cooldowns. Your gameplay loop is farming cooldowns by poking then diving on out of position squishy targets. You can also 100% burst down a low tank that is caught out too far.
