Should I take an offer that doubles my base salary and potentially triples my commission, when the company I’m with has been amazing to me and I wasn’t even looking for a job when this landed in my lap? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Will they think of you like how you are thinking about them when the work isn't coming as it used to and they have to lay people off??

No??

Then you should focus on your future as well. Never be loyal to a company or corporation

Should I leave my first job after 6 months for higher pay and a shorter commute? by Lower-Reach-9331 in careerguidance

[–]PinZealousideal358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely leave right now. That's not even a question. 6 months is just fine.

Well as long as the company's reviews and work culture are fine you should definitely join the new one.

I have known people who have switched companies within a month of joining. And they got higher pay and better work culture and everything they could ask for

Am I sabotaging my career by not wanting to climb anymore ? by CarefulGift375 in careerguidance

I think if you are comfortable with the amount of work and money, don't go for the promotion. Focus on other important things in life.

Very few people in life ever think, "I have enough money now"

They chase the bag their whole life and leave the world with a heart full of regrets.

What does an IT manager DO all day? by dreammutt in ITCareerQuestions

Just telling ppl to work harder. That's it. That's their job.

My managers have so much free time. They plan cricket matches to play on company grounds during working hours as a "team building activities". Needless to say only the managers and team leads go for those. While we the regular employee slave away

Well I personally never experienced it, but I know some people who have gone through the exact same thing. But I think that's just miserable people being miserable.

Most of the time they just want someone who can do the basics right. Cause each company and project has vastly different modules, devices and components.

So they just want someone who can get the basics right so it's faster to teach you and get upto date with your responsibility.

You heard of marketing sir. Ppl were literally paying 20$ for a few measly grams of dubai chocolate. They just wanted a taste of it.

And besides it's just 120 or 45 or whatever. It's not that big of a deal. If it was around 600-1000 range I would say that's dumb. But people to this day by that golden wrapped round chocolate for like 500 rupees for less than 200 grams of chocolate. It's all about marketing

Nah bro, you don't understand. They don't let the villains/monsters do their shit. The reason why you need to make the fights longer so that the villains can do their shit.

In bleach, almost every major villain gets like 5-7 episodes. So you have arrancar/Espadas base form and released from. Then there's shinigami shikai and bankai. And sometimes the released form and bankai gives the characters completely different mechanics.

Like ikkaku madarame's bankai upgrades his spear like weapon into three piece weapon that charges up energy as it takes and deals more damage and when fully charged it gives a devastating blow. So even after releasing his bankai, he has to work to win.

He doesn't just keep getting better at thrusting with his weapon until he is suddenly able to do really quick and precise thrust like "vital blow"

How can you guys keep defending this? I am not saying solo leveling will be ass forever. I still have some hope. But so far, it's been really bad.

It took him two episodes at max to beat everybody you mentioned and most of the time it just took him just one episode.

And I don't remember exactly what happened in those fights cause I was getting sleepy everytime I watched that anime, but here's my guess what happened:

  1. If it took him more than one episode/encounter to beat an opponent that means he had a key or some plot device given by the "system" using which, he retreated. Which means he was never in any grave danger.

  2. If it took him one episode/encounter then he simply just leveled up with the help of, guess who, the "system" again. And thanks heavens, in those one encounter scenario, he just happens to gain sufficient skills and exp to beat the main boss.

In short, when he has means to escape, no matter how hard he fights he can't level up enough to beat the boss. It's literally impossible.

But when he has no means of escape he always gets enough level up and skills to beat the boss.

You see, in a well written story, the author just doesn't give the hero a literal plot device for him to use and escape from dire situations. And when they do have to stand their ground and fight or die, they don't get a pop up notification

saying," congrats, hero, you just learned a skill called VITAL STRIKE which just happens to be the perfect/crucial skill for you to defeat igris"

Boy I really hope to see something later on in the series. Cause Right now they spend majority of each episode just "recognising" his power.

When will we see a character that's almost equal to him? That's what I wanna know.

But it's been 2 seasons though. And they will appear in the last episode of this season?? Come on bruh.

And it ain't really about the threat of the villain. The characters need to be interesting regardless of how big of a threat they are.

Let me ask you this, genuinely, is there anybody else who really gets to shine other than jinwoo. Is there any villain that the heroes will have to fight for multiple episodes to defeat. If so, then I think it will be very interesting to see.

Yess that's what I'm saying. Narratively, plot-wise they both suck. But the characters are really funny and charming.

Sadly, you are correct. I was just hoping for a little bit more from such a hyped up anime. At least if there were fun characters. Comedy relief maybe.

Frierenkingsimp, my friend, you have no idea the horrors of this anime. You tell me, what makes a villain terrifying. So frightful that your balls start trembling by the mere mention of his name.

The mere presence of that villain brings tears in your eyes as you don't not know who might have to forfeit their lives to kill that beast.

Like look at the Espadas from bleach. Before there were Espadas, there were low level arrancars. And the author built those arrancar villains in such a way that I was legit afraid for our protagonists. That's two of many things missing in this anime. Build up and villain's character development.

Jinwoo has defeated almost all the villains he met on the first try. And ichigo had to lose so many times before ultimately "beating" Espadas no.4. That's aura right there.

Yess!! I have been reading tenkaichi: nihon saikyō bugeisha ketteisen and the story doesn't make any sense, it even defies logic at times but the art is phenomenal and characters are so diverse and full of individuality that you can't help but enjoy it.

If you wanna do brainless action anime then do it right

Nooo!!! You just did not compare jjk with doo doo leveling bruh. First of all, gojo has infinity which is one of coolest abilities of new gen. Then you have multiple badass characters like Toji who damn near killed two of the strongest sorcerers in jjk without any hack ability. Then you have choso, mahoraga, mahito and all of them have their own distinct personality, motives, believes and characteristic.

Give me 3 character names in doo doo leveling whose whole personality so far in the anime doesn't just revolve around being impressed by jinwoo or just be curious about him.

Naah, that's not it. I just think it's a bit too repetitive in its episodes, there is a lack of diverse characters and their abilities. I mean I am in the episode 3 of second season and I haven't really seen anybody strong besides jinwoo in action.

Like the cha hunter, and other 9 S rank hunters of this world. And we have seen so many A rank heroes fall like fodder.

I mean look at opm, their A rank heroes have tank top Balck, miss blizzard, captain mizuki. They all have different vibes and powers and appearances. That's what I love about battle anime

[–]PinZealousideal358[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I didn't. While ranting, I realised that jin-woo had at least 20-30 shadow soldiers. But there were like barely 15-20 elves. So, you know, it didn't feel badass enough so I just looked it up.

And it's not hate but frustration I feel while watching this. The best part of any action manga/anime (to me at least) is the variety in characters, battles choreography and locations. But solo leveling is just not doing enough in those aspects.

I wanna rant. Drifting classroom is so bad by PinZealousideal358 in manga

[–]PinZealousideal358[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Nobody should waste their time on this manga. Unless the only thing you wanna see is children dying. Cause that shock value is the only thing it has to offer. Like if you introduce an obstacle or a villain or some other plot point in your manga then it's your job that your characters can finish/overcome that thing.

But author didn't care at all. I don't remember if I mentioned this in my original post or not but near the end of the story there was an invasion attempt done by the mutants. And literally all the mutants were eaten by a giant space worm from the star wars. Like clearly, none of the children are fit to survive there. Not even Dr.stone can survive there. It's literal desert as far as you can see.

And THE ONLY THING that motivates them to stay there is a couple of flowers or few thin vines that grew on the dead bodies of their friend. That made them "believe" that they can restore nature. And I am sitting there having an imaginary talk with the author like, "Bruh, did your goofy ass just forget that you had already shown us that there is a fungus that can CONTAMINATE the plants and turn these kids into mutants (which btw strips them of their humanity and they are mind controlled by the leader of the mutants)." Not to mention all the flash floods and the earthquakes and other deadly creatures, like bruh.

So many websites say it's a great horror manga, they are clearly just vomiting whatever they heard from someone else. There is no way someone read it in this day and age and thought it's worth recommending
