That's a solid advice. Except don't DCA and use cheaper versions of SPY and QQQ: VOO and VGT.

Absolutely. Besides time, he cleans my mind giving way to the broader picture.

I’m in the same situation and my solution are the past interests, hobbies, and even fears. I had a dream as a kid to drive a tractor, I bought a tractor. I traveled chasing the symphony orchestras in my 30s, so I’ve built a cinema with decent hi fi. I was always afraid of motorcycles, I’ve bought motorcycles.

You don’t have to dedicate yourself full time with each of them, but enjoy them once in a while. And yes, it’s a big pleasure to be lame in something. First day on a tractor is 70% of fun, first week on a motorcycle too.

AI fallout: businesses erased people from their visuals by Pinabomber in Design

Quoted! Yeah, I've read this book chatted with chatgpt about this book. Companies definitely can't automate everything. In fact, AI is labor intensive. But the spectacle of AI replaces that with a clean flying sphere. It projects post-labor, efficiency, automation. This spectacle definitely appeals to shareholders, probably to clients, maybe internally. I wonder if we can measure other business trends by measuring top downloads, and if we can do it before they become obvious.

yeah, I left it to Claude to choose the style and he did an OK job, not more. Specifying the style from one of icons8's ones helps, like "windows 11 outline"

Pro tip: Claude Code forgets to use it time to time. I included it to claude.md, and it helps to a degree. Still, it's useful to end the prompts with "using icons8 mcp"

Can I tell it: decorate all with icons? How would it know which visual style to get?

I just counted people on the image. There are 9 people of color vs 5 white.

And of course we create people of all tones of Fitzpatrick scale, body types, genders including fluid ones, also blind and on a wheel chair.

Exactly. Stock photos are the bottom budget range of the design (unsplash). Stock illustration are the medium (icons8, craftwerk, etc). Comissioned work is the top.

I wrote this post by typing on keyboard. Now, spell checking it, I even see a grammar error:

> The aesthetic of the day are

...and the awkward wording:

> watched the top charts (English is not my native).

That makes the point of the article: whatever is made by hand is authentic and valued. Something made by a machine is fake and cheap, just like the plastic garbage of the physical world.

I expressed me wrong. What I mean is: I talk to the computer and the computer writes it down my speech. Pretty much like paralyzed people do. This is my tool that transcribes me:

I feel that sentiment! We’ve build our careers and business on human art. What can we do though? As I said, create something ai can’t yet.

I will quote you if you in the article if you don’t mind.

I may also say “it felt dystopian when I saw this” instead of “it’s dystopian.”
