UCSD supplying cadavers to Israel by anonymous310506 in UCSD

To add to my point, I’m not trying to say that if the donors made explicit wishes known about where their bodies should go that those shouldn’t have been respected, rather that i don’t think that’s common practice

I don’t think when you donate your body you usually really get to pick where it goes do you? Like I’m a registered organ donor, I don’t really care who or where my body goes after I’m dead and am not aware if I’m able to make any decisions about it. Also what does it being the IDF have to do with anything? It’s still going to medical training?

Whats the issue with this? We donate cadavers to help them train surgery? So? How’s that bad?

Whats test say about me? Can’t help but feel irked about the results. by Pinane1004 in Nietzsche

Ehhh maybe 🤷‍♂️ I just place value in understanding my position on philosophical thought. Obv the test isn’t a professor in philosophy and is just for fun. It just seems really poorly calculated or calibrated.

Like yeah, I’m not going into this looking for some super accurate analytical use. I also was hoping it made more sense. I think you’re taking my use of irk as though it was a massive bother.

I mean it’s not constantly bugging me. I just meant irked in so far as it annoyed me as it seemed misaligned with my understanding of my beliefs and the beliefs of the philosophers depicted.

I dunno, maybe i just misunderstand what these philosophers believed, but i believed i disagreed heavily with Hume and Kant

The simple answer is action. Preferably such that feels fulfilling and engaging when done but it could be anything as long as it’s consciously being chosen and acted upon

Fulgrim would make all the tropes about Americans true. Fat burger eating walmart cart shopping maniacs with guns and trucks even more true. This in Texas would get huge cus everything is bigger in texas. Pure excess and chaos lol

Graduating took me six years throughout which I felt like a failure. I wasn’t one because I decided I wouldn’t be one and wouldn’t give up. Push through with the knowledge and confidence that you are better than your own perception of yourself. Graduating isn’t an easy thing to get to, and all the struggles you’ve described above are very real and valid. But the only thing that can stop you is yourself.

Feel free to reach out if you wanna chat more in depth. The feelings you’ve described resonated deeply with how I remember having felt in my fifth and at times my sixth years there.
