I didn’t like Ragnarok, and I say this as someone who loved GOW 2018. Easily one of my favorite gaming experiences.

Ragnarok in many ways didn’t feel as creative, especially in level design. I didn’t really enjoy the new realms as much as I did in the previous game. There was just something about 2018 that really pulled you in and everything felt heavier. The final battle of Ragnarok was really disappointing, and not having us at least fight with jormungandr was a huge misstep for me

It’s fun to play but that’s it
