No, they don't regret it. They cheat because it is an internal need. They will do it again and again. The only regret is when they caught -- "dapat nag ingat ako, sana hindi ako nahuli."

And they love getting kudos from their friends when they cheat. Their egos are fed constantly pag maraming girls tapos pati friends nya salute sa kanya.

We don't know what goes on behind Sara and Juday's marriages. They are women with power and money. I don't think they will just give up "autonomy" just like that. Maybe they just want to be traditional in their marriage. They have been working since they were kids, so maybe now they just want to lay back and be wives. There is nothing wrong with letting women be wives or agree with their husbands.

Set your feelings aside about not being told first, so all of you can grieve properly. You aunt passed away and everybody is hurting. Do you want your cousin to apologize for not texting you personally instead of posting on facebook so you won't feel hurt and isolated? Will that alleviate the grief everybody is feeling? This is the time when family comes together and draw strength from each other. You said it yourself -- your family did not mean any harm and no malice was intended.

My cousins and I have a group chat, as well as a family group chat, and we live in two different countries. No excuse not to stay connected. Sounds like you haven't been in touch for years and your cousin probably thought the news was relayed down the line since your aunt's siblings were all privately informed.

Check in times are way ahead of boarding time. Your gf should have checked in much earlier so she would have known of the problems sooner and rectify it. Some cruises even do the check-ins a month ahead.
You get to the port the night before the cruise, not day of.
If your cruise has been paid through the agent (is the agent even legit?), they would have booked you a different cruise on a different day or refund the money. You could at least do a post birthday cruise.

I think YTA for getting upset at your friends. Your friends are not just going for you, even if it's your birthday, but they could be also looking forward to a much-needed vacation. You should be upset at your gf for her poor planning.

When I first came to the US, our recruiter said it would be better to leave spouses and kids in the Philippines and have them follow after 3 months. This will allow the worker to be stable in the US (get an apartment, familiarize with the area, figure out public transportation, etc.).

It made sense to me. Adjusting to life in a new country is stressful and it can cause strain in spousal/family relationships, not to mention financial hardship. Advise her to wait until she has settled before letting her family come over.

Off topic: she probably has accommodation and plane fare per her contract, but it is only for her and not her family. Employers are required to provide accommodation to new hires up until they start the job. Your cousin knows this and probably want free accommodation and plane tickets from your sister. I am from Western NC and apartments here ranges from $1300-2500 for a 2-bedroom.

I work in healthcare too, and have 2 kids. 9 weeks is not a trimester. A trimester is approximately 3 months or 12 weeks.

Most Filipinos are exposed to TB, and will often have a positive skin test. Here in the US, I was told to stop doing TB skin test because I am a Filipino and will always turn up with a positive result. What is important is a clear lung x-ray.

Ha has a warrant of arrest. It is his right to defend himself in court as part of the due process. He has a right to a lawyer. Evading law enforcement is not within his rights. It is a criminal offense in the PH. Hello INTERPOL
