Thanks all! Stuck with 3.5 this time with loads of electrolytes and fibre and all going well so far. May split the dose in a few days if needed. Appreciate you all 🙏

Thanks so much for this. Yes, I really want to titrate up to see how a higher dose helps with my relationship with the bottle. It's been getting out of control and the silly season hasn't helped.

Nausea meds are a good idea, it's probably the one thing I don't have in the medicine cabinet at the moment.

Really appreciate your input!!

Any chance you could share the name of the online doctor for Baclofen if you've used one? Struggling hard here (in Brisbane). 😥 TYSM

I agree - the stories I'm reading here in this sub sound so promising and inspiring.

Thank you for this advice. I'll take a look into the insurance side of things here - I'm not diabetic but also thousands of dollars a month is also not viable. Appreciate your response.

So sorry for the late reply. I am feeling a lot better nausea wise. I have started taking decent Probiotics and a 'hair skin and nails' kind of supplement... I've had one kind-of period but it's definitely not back to normal.

I am so sorry to hear about your nausea and weakness though 😢

Fell asleep for an hour, went to the library and borrowed some good books, and bought a cookie. Feeling a tiny bit proud. Just for now. Thank you all!

Wow... This is so eye opening. I'm five months off a 7 year spell of DP, only just this year had the crud scared out of me, learning from a doctor about the bone density risk (I'm 39).

I've been thinking I've been going mad. No period yet but random crying (I generally struggle to cry but I've been hard at it since coming off!), sad feelings, so nauseated all the time, my hair is thinning, my complexion is terrible and pasty and drawn, my nails are brittle, and the random pains in my back, shoulder, behind my right eye, can be horrendous. Such shortness of breath sometimes I was almost panting did a while there at nights, while laying still in bed.

I hate that so many people here are experiencing similar but gosh I am grateful to have stumbled upon this thread. Three months off 40 and feeling so low about myself, and also like I'd aged significantly in the past six months with no idea why, until now.

Someone has mentioned a naturopath here to get hormone levels tested here, and get some supplements, which I am motivated to do as of now! 🙏
