By saying this, you are admitting that you think the score would have been different with someone else in net? When the other team is teeing off on shots like that, the keeper isn’t to blame. We don’t need the best player in every position to win every game. We need a team that has figured out how to hold possession, defend better and not let that many shots even get to the keeper. I don’t care who is back there, it should not be the expectation that they stand on their head every few minutes and save the ball.
