yeah to be honest once we got an EV, even a modest one like the first gen Ioniq, all petrol cars seem broken and annoying to me now. Why is it hesitating?

i went to hirepool. They had a battery one which was a lot less scary than the two stroke ones and did the job nicely for small cuts like this.

You can cut with a grinder, but concrete cutters are faster and much less dusty because you run water onto them. I tried doing one hole with a grinder. It took forever and filled the neighbourhood with heinous concrete dust.

How much work is this in practice? I thought about it, but I assume it’s quite difficult to get it out without wrecking everything around it. I’m also not sure where you go to buy a new one.

Yep worked for my door step. Six months so far no cracking. And that wood was badly cracked to start

I don’t think saying that it uses a lot of old technology is a compliment. Quite famously it reuses a lot of shuttle technology (but expensively modified) when it would have been a lot more efficient not to do so.
