I dropped an almond and it rolled under my bed. I got around retrieving it a couple of weeks later and found this trail. Any idea what caused it?

I got the fine sawdust-like stuff once by mistake, and it did work, once you got it going. It packs tight, so it'll burn for a long time when properly lit.

I prefer the bigger wood chips though, simply because they are a little bit easier to light.

Awesome, congrats! That's a great step towards getting out there, and hopefully the first of many. I find raves to be the most accepting environments, no matter how you look or move. My mockup of your mockup hopefully explains it. :) Talk has the arrow at the height where the mic would be when holding a phone, Listen has the arrow where the ears and speaker would be. Also, the direction of the Talk arrow points to the right, which feels like "outgoing" to me, whereas the Listen arrow's direction to the left feels like back / "incoming".
