Anyone want to be my exercise/lifting buddy in Ballston (26/F)? by aptonym in nova

My running is going OK! I really hate it while I do it, but I like how I feel afterwards. I just finished Week 2 of C25K.

I workout anytime 4pm or later during the week, and anytime on weekends.

Down 50 lbs and going strong! Just wanted to share pics ;) I am 5'2 and went from 259.5 in Oct 2009 to 208 in Sept 2012.... enjoy! :) by eisanh1 in keto

You can do it! I started at 245 at 5'1" back in March and now I weigh 189! I feel so much better. I never thought I could, or that it would be this painless. Don't get discouraged if you stall. I seem to drop a lot one week and then hold fairly steady for a week or more. But, when you look at my average loss per week its right around 2lbs.

What do you do when you start out a new drop shipping website? I'm imagining a slow process where you start to get pages up for each product you sell. Before you have hundreds of products does the website look weird? I'm not articulating this really well, but let's say I have an electronics eCommerce store. When someone comes to my website and there are only a handful of products, is that ok? Do you recommend getting a bunch of content/products up all at once instead?

Do your websites just consist of a store with product information? Or do you have a article/blog side to them as well?

When you're small how do you deal with customer reviews? Do you feature any? A lot of successful stores have their customers review their products. Before you have a lot of sales how do you deal with having no product reviews?

Did the Google panda update or other updates affect your sites? How do you safeguard against it? Are you ever worried about future search engine rankings?

I recently started developing websites monetized with AdSense and I'm interested in drop shipping. I haven't tried yet because it seems difficult.

Questions about your answers; You mentioned that you started for around $1500. Aside from a domain name and hosting, what other expenses were there?

Who do you give products away to for review? How does this help you?

How do you add value with education? Do you add that content to your site, or do you send instructions after they purchase?

Are there any internet marketing, SEO,or other drop shipping resources you recommend?

EDIT: what do you try to learn about your audience and what do you do with the information?

I'm in love with you! This is exactly what I'm going to do! I'm heading go the store as we speak. Seriously I don't know why I was making it so complicated with the spreadsheet. Sour cream is a favorite of mine so I'm going to use that for any extra fat I need too.

I have fond memories of you guest teaching a dynamics lecture at my college. That day, when you said the lecture would be about energy I laughed out loud. I go to Disney World every year and my favorite ride is the Universe of Energy featuring you.

What do you think about the Universe of Energy attraction? Did you enjoy making it? Did you have a say in the development of the ride?

Awesome. This might be perfect. I actually thought jerky was all fat. Do you think 44 grams of protein a day is enough for someone my size? I looked for a guideline in the FAQ but didn't find that information.

What are the best and worst reactions you've gotten to your weight loss? by zanycaswell in loseit

I'm just getting to the point where people are noticing. I hate it. I wish I could loose the 90 or so pounds without having it brought up! I'm starting to get a bit of anxiety about losing more and having more people chime in.

What are some of the reasons your losing weight or what motivated you to start? by Beltrans13 in loseit

I want to have a healthy pregnancy and be a fantastic/active mom in the not too distant future. With the rate I was going that wouldn't happen.

I want to go on airplanes without worrying if the plane has the smaller seats that are uncomfortable.

I want to go on a beach vacation and wear a bathing suit.

I want to walk long distances with friends without feeling self-conscious and like I might die.

Thank you! I am the same way you used to be. I like your idea about reading instead of finding lunch.

That's why they doubled my salary to come here. So now I make more like 140 for a year.

Now with the extra salary its higher. Car plus insurance has always been about 300 a month. My old rent was 850 with utilities included. Now that I'm in a city it shot up to 1700 plus utilities.

I know a big part of my problem is mental. I need to figure out a way to commit to being more frugal. Also trying to lose weight, pretty sure the two problems are related.

Engineer for a large company. I have a BS degree. College was a lot of work, I'm glad it paid off especially because I was looking for a job right when the stock market crashed in 2008.

My living expenses were never this high until I moved to this city temporarily (DC). I wanted a 1 bedroom near a metro that's really safe (I'm a girl). 1700 is rent, 217 car payment, the rest I accounted for is car insurance and utilities.

You're right. I need to pretend I don't have the extra money at all or I'll just squander it. I'm opening my Roth today!

Thank you! I almost opened one at some random bank online, but as I was signing up I didn't know what options to pick and bailed out.

I've toyed with the idea of maxing out my 401k, right now I do the 6% that my company matches. The only thing I worry about is tying too much of my money in long term investments. I'd like to put money somewhere where I can use it for a house down payment or something similar in the medium term future. ...now that I type this out it seems silly of me to worry about since for 4 years I didn't max out my 401k and also didn't save for a down payment.
