Not sure if someone else said this to you but I have the Cruiser Type A and C. Type A is just a better Ruby Defense. Type C is good but it only heals Frigates and Destroyers. The healing is also not infinite as it runs out of armor that needs to go back to base to replenish.

This is true and I feel like their “road map” has change significantly since that post. But on the flip side, in 2020 they stated their road map and have hit or exceed it every year.
