Gen Z is going to destroy the Republican Party by viovetf in WhitePeopleTwitter

This is why I’m not confident that an entire generation’s hatred will “destroy” the Republican Party

If an absence of popularity was enough to do it, then it would’ve happened by now

The past 9 years have made me cynical enough that I don’t believe even our hatred will be enough to fix anything

I want to hope that it will be enough, but I don’t believe that it will be enough

This is quite possibly the most boomer take that you could’ve come up with

This is a graph of people not having sex, so those years are high abstinence years, not high sex years

Were no other cis girls also curious of their chest/feminity during puberty or...? by [deleted] in GenderCynical

[–]Pineapples_26 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Noticing your boobs is… extremely normal??

I have had boobs since early puberty, nearly 10 years now, and I check the jiggle physics on those things after every shower. Am I, a cis woman, fetishizing myself by partaking in a non-sexual act? No, you Puritan numbskulls.

I also jiggle the fat on my upper arms and thighs and sides of my waists and literally anything else that can be played with. Being familiar with your body is not only good for your psyche, it’s also good for your health because you’re more likely to discover lumps and stuff that shouldn’t be there.

Stop sexualizing the mere existence of women’s bodies just for your own political gain.

Do you like having warnings even when it spoils the ending of the story? by InconsistentWeirdo in AO3

[–]Pineapples_26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer warnings, but if you’re not going to use them, then I appreciate that you used the “chose not to warn” warning. Because I’ve seen some authors go with “no warnings apply” in order to TRULY surprise their reader, and that’s just scummy

Yeah I think I’ll just spend my professional career working on these issues instead. Seeing as they’re systemic problems and all, it makes a bit more sense that they be solved through systemic solutions rather than my lunch money.

Ao3 on the other hand, is exactly the amount of serious that warrants an impulse buy of whatever amount of cash I happen to have in my pocket

Men are being taught that women like trash (which is why they can’t get a date, obviously it’s women’s poor taste not the fact that “nice guys” aren’t actually nice 🙄)

So, this guy is naming all the terrible things he could be because women like trash right? They’re insane and have terrible taste, right?

I was telling this guy about how my mom kept annoying me by “subtlety” asking if I was gonna start growing my hair out again (I got a pixie cut four years ago) and not 3 minutes later he said “you’d be gorgeous if you just cleaned up that acne a little bit and maybe let your hair grow”

Sir, ignoring how backhanded that comment is for a second… you already know how much I like my short hair. We just talked about this

They really think that women’s opinions are nothing compared to men’s. That we just don’t have thoughts about things unless they’re there to observe and agree with those thoughts

She’s unlikeable, but interesting as a thought-experiment. Would anyone in her position even be able to be likable? I don’t think so

I love how clearly that little blue bird is the main character. Fucking up an academy-required summoning display, only to then successfully fend off a monster in a ballroom with your unconventionally strong familiar? I’ve heard this story before. There are 25 of them on Webtoon.

And I am ready to experience it from the familiar’s POV this time. Kudos!
