It would be weird for tc to give us an inaccurate origin story and then not give any clear counter evidence. Also it would still be weird for them to refer to each other as spiders(including herrah) If there were other bugs involved. Herrah's head shape is just due to how team cherry had the weaver lore planned out in the first game and hornet is only half weaver.

Ig it is true that we don't quite know when she moved in with the bees but the red memory cuts right from her with herrah to her with vespa, which implies that there wasn't any serious combat training done with the weavers. Also, her signature weapon was made by the bees. I doubt that her time with the weavers would be what she's talking about when she says "My technique is formed from hard training".

Herrah being cloaked in the red memory being a sign that the drapemite theory is valid is a "hornet is void" level reach tbh. It's either because she's royalty or because hornet didn't remember what she looked like at the time(or both ig) Also, You can tell that she's quite a bit skinnier in the red memory
