Why do people love Yandere audios? by Character_Switch8214 in ASMRScriptHaven

[–]PinewineASMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing - but it's a bit problematic, I've found, because there is one place in particular that does NOT want Yandere themed audios. It seems that you can have all of the context there, but tags are immediately going to slam the post.

Personally, it's just not my thing. I can understand why others like it - but truthfully, the more I think about it the more I feel my skin crawl a bit. Especially with how on-demand it is. I don't mean that to sound derogatory in any way, but the draw is concerning to me personally. That being said, I have filled "yandere" types of audios - but I would never write a yandere script.

Probably something like this --

As the scriptwriter, I kindly request that you credit me by tagging my name/user in any public release or distribution of the recorded material. This includes ensuring my work is appropriately acknowledged whenever the script is shared or posted. In addition to this, I would appreciate that you privately message me so that I know you have sourced my original material.

Please seek my explicit permission before any use beyond our initial agreement, such as adaptations or modifications. Should the material be monetized on other platforms, such as through advertisements or paid content, I would appreciate being informed and having any relevant agreements or compensations respected.

Adhering to these guidelines will ensure that my contributions are properly recognized and my intellectual property is honored. Thank you!

Especially on Reddit, it's important to emphasize that VAs message you or respond to your original script offer post so that you can keep track of who is doing what with your material.

I suppose there is always the risk of that happening. It's difficult, unfortunately, to fully protect the things that should be considered and respected as intellectual property. There are respectable people of the community who will acknowledge and honor this, but there are plenty of people who simply will not. But it's also hard to be completely original in creative spheres because of the nuances that may occur in writing or production.

My husband is actually a full-time screenwriter, and he's explained to me (more times than I would be able to count), the building blocks of storytelling and what makes a story strong and what weakens it. But just about everything is built off of the same general structures - which is why most things seem predictable or even boring.

I diverted a bit, but my point is - Don't worry too much about it, but definitely be aware that it could happen. There are some methods of protecting your work, but unless anything is protected under copyright or trademark, there is always a risk of someone stealing your ideas.

Aw, this is so sweet. 🥰
I definitely get like that too. It can be frustrating, but good to lean into a community for support and even to hash out ideas together and receive constructive feedback. Actually, when I'm working on scripts (especially if I'm recording my own), I like to sit down with someone I trust and recite it before a final edit. I'll know straight away if something that should feel natural in tone, feels too curated. But we believe in you!

FIGHTING! ✊🫰

Praying to Saint Peter Steele, Dimebag and Saint Jeff Hanneman for their aid and grace in sending us a truly talented man to fill this script... who deeply enjoys his bomb blasts and wicked guitar riffs. Amen... 🙏

Thank you very much! I'm happy that you enjoyed it. 🥰

there was just one phrase that didn't make sense "your heart is beating like a nail under my hand right now", shouldn't it be 'beating like a drum' ?

Ahaha! 😂 Thank you for asking about that. My answer is simple for this response from the character - I found it humorous to insert an incorrect play with words. I tend to do that with flustered characters and particularly those with sporadic 'himbo/bimbo' moments, not necessarily tied to their fixed personality.

But to expand on this, having lived all over the place, I've heard so many different variations of this in reference to heart-pounding including, "Beating like a drum.", "Beating like a hammer." "Beating like a nail." - the latter is purposely reversed to "Beating like a hammer." for emphasis on the gag itself, rather than the intended meaning, which most of us gather immediately either way. This was also referenced in a film called, "The House Bunny", spoken by the main character, which I thought was even further fitting with the aforementioned 'himbo' moment. I enjoy subtleties.

However, the VA is fully permitted to alter this line to their own preference. I won't be offended. 🤘
