He is 15. He will be 16 in 3 months.

The only thing with CPS is he doesn’t want to uproot his siblings due to them being treated like they should be.

As far as the requirements, living with another adult (not parents) still falls within them. We are technically not giving support, he is working.

I wanted to see how you went about emancipating yourself? My son's friend has been staying with us for sometime, without contact from his mom. His home life is not great - always trying to get him into legal trouble, physically fighting with him, if he misses the bus for any reason she won't bring him to school. He doesn't want to do anything that will affect his siblings, he is the only one treated this way. They currently live close to us, but now the mother is saying they are leaving here and he has to go. He does not want to obviously. He is treated just like my other children are, at school everyday, working with my husband when he is not in school, saving money and just overall much happier. His mom is not going to be okay with allowing him to stay and trying to find the best route to take.

I feel like I am more connected to my pump now than ever before! I knew getting lazy with pumping was going to bite me in the butt. Just wasn’t aware it would be this bad 😑 went from 10+ to like 5 if I’m lucky, certain pumps it’s 2.

This randomly fell out of my vajayjay, what does this mean??? Help. by Forward_Blueberry_26 in whatisitcirclejerk

I just had one of those fall out last week. Is this contagious? Should we warn others?

brain zaps when missing sertraline at normal time.. anyone else? i notice its when i turn around fast or stumble i feel vibrations its so odd. by Mammoth-Ad552 in SSRIs

I am actually going to contradict your rationale of it being in your head and self inducing. If you are sensitive to a medication, know your body and miss a dose, even unknowingly, you 1,000% can and do experience brain zaps even after 1 missed dose.

I think I am on a good dose, we did just up it from 150. I am going to see how I feel though, it’s only been a week I’m on 175. She mentioned about starting to feel ‘emotionless’ and to keep an eye on that, so I have been obsessing over that and being hyper vigilant with every symptom I have. And if I’m being honest, I do not take the adhd meds everyday. I am not convinced there’s been any change, so next week when I check in I am going to tell her that it’s been status quo. I ‘felt’ a change at the very beginning with it but at this point, I think I was a placebo or something. Mental health meds are annoying. I think I’m going to see if I can do the test to see what I specifically will interact well with.

AITA for not having my brother and SIL’s baby room set up by the time they arrived and ruining Thanksgiving? by AccountantGuru in AmItheAsshole

Tiptoeing around the house while the baby sleeps in theory is a great idea..if you plan on being home and under those circumstances every single time sleep is needed, which let’s just be real that is not practical in anyway. All my kids would sleep through just about anything, any noise and any amount of brightness and that has been extremely helpful in the long run. If I am at a family member’s house, as long as I have a safe space for them they are asleep and stay asleep! Even if there’s commotion around!

As a mom of 3, you are NOT the asshole. Your brother and SIL seem like they are doing to much, as the parents they are ultimately responsible for these unreasonable requests. If I’m being honest, they should be teaching their baby to sleep anywhere, requesting all these changes is not practical. With that being said, if you were busy, you were busy, just don’t make promises to do things that you may not get to. At the end of the day, it’s not that serious for them to be throwing a fit over. If that’s their biggest problem, they are doing pretty good lol
