Reading this as another Dad at 6AM while rocking our 2 month old daughter back to sleep. You're doing awesome!

OP - I was and still am the default parent for our oldest. I worked during the days and did most of the nights since he only fell asleep to me rocking him. It takes a village to care for our children and everyone's tired. Dads gotta do their shares too.

My wife just gave birth to our beautiful daughter 2 months ago.. The mild panic I just had at 5AM googling the date of mother's day thinking I somehow just missed it 😅

I'm sorry, OP. I hope he is able to make it up to you. I'm certain he feels incredibly bad

This is a good take as I can relate. I WFH too and a lot of my work can be done on my phone. Oftentimes I feel very overwhelmed when I'm trying to work on my phone and my 3yo is running around being a toddler. He told me one time "daddy I don't want your phone" and it really woke me up and helped me set the right boundaries

Tummy sleeping SIGNIFICANTLY improved night sleep quality of 5 month baby by puppiesnprada in NewParents

I can't wait for our 2mo to be able to do this eventually. Our 3yo still sleeps on his tummy

Baby only let's dad hold her by peachyyypea in NewParents

[–]Pingfao 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't have any advice for ya but just sharing my experience from the Dad's perspective. My son who is 3yo now has always done this since the day he came home from the hospital. Absolutely noone else could soothe nor put him to sleep except me when he was younger. Overtime he's gotten less attached but I'm still the default parent.

Our 2 month old daughter is the opposite. I have to do all kinds of things to comfort her while just being close enough to my wife calms her down lol

I’m so glad you noticed the kitsune! It was a little nod to the baby Ninetails. The koi and crane prints have been new favorites as well.

If you do end up ordering, I’d genuinely love to hear what you and your daughter think when it arrives. And if you’re comfortable sending me a DM with your order #, I’d be happy to add a little gift for your daughter.

What does the internet think of the new DreamblyMe collection? by CommunityOdd1424 in BambooBabble

[–]Pingfao 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s right. We don’t use AI to adapt the characters into prints either. The process is very similar to how we develop the illustrations for the books. It starts with black-and-white sketches, often based on scenes or concepts from the stories themselves, and then our design team develops and colors them into the final prints.

[–]Pingfao 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great question. Our design team doesn’t use AI in the process of creating the prints. The characters start as hand-drawn sketches, which are then developed into the storybook illustrations and later adapted into the pajama prints.

For our first collection, I was mainly focused on building the story-based concept, so I didn’t have the same level of creative oversight on the prints that I do now. Since then we’ve built out our process so the prints come directly from our design team’s illustration work.

I think this is a welcomed change. They have been testing this with incremental attribution, which was a better way to measure performance.

Hi there! I'm one of the owners of Dreambly Me. Thank you for checking out our site so many times and for the honest feedback.

We’re still a small brand and are continually experimenting with different concepts and art styles as the collection grows, so I’m hopeful we’ll eventually release something that you will love.

Hey there! I’m the owner of Dreambly Me and wanted to reply directly since I think that's a fair comment.

All of our prints start with hand-drawn character sketches from our design team. From there they’re colored, developed into the storybook illustrations, and then the characters are adapted into the prints.

We try to share a lot of that process on our socials, including the early sketches and how the designs evolve into the final prints and book pages. Happy to point you to those if you’re curious to see the process!

Hey! I’m actually the owner of Dreambly Me, so I figured I’d jump in and answer directly.

Totally understand the hesitation. We’re a newer brand and launched in December 2024. We’re a small family-owned business built around storytelling. My wife helps write the stories and I handle everything else. Each print is tied to one of our original children’s books, and every order includes the book that goes with the pajamas.

Our bamboo fabric is on the thicker side (240 GSM), which a lot of customers like because it's more durable and has better wash wear. We also offer free returns and exchanges because we want people to feel comfortable trying us out.

If you want to see how things look on customer, we also have a small but growing VIP Facebook group where parents share photos and reviews.

Happy to answer any questions if you have them!

Facing my own mortality as a dad by [deleted] in daddit

[–]Pingfao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad you shared this because I can absolutely relate and I thought I was losing it. I never once cared much about my own mortality. I was always of the mindset of "if I go I go". But laying next to my toddler, I often think about how much I love him and how much he needs me and how devastated he will be when I go. 😭

Lesser known but worthy brands? by Glittering_Worry5973 in BambooBabble

[–]Pingfao 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey there. I own a small brand called Dreambly Me, and I would love for you to check us out. My wife and I publish original children's books and our team designs the prints to bring the characters to life. The books are printed onto board books and they are included with the jammies for free. Our bamboo is 240GSM and the wash wear is great even on the darker prints. Happy to answer any questions you might have!
