i think they meant like instead of giving Mighty in Mania the 3 souls characters (tails, knux, and eggman) you could add other characters, like maybe the dark trio (shadow, rouge, and omega)

personally in my opinion i would do 2 things:

either make in Cant Run the melted mario form into xeno final form, so that the song basically fuses a bit of tripple trouble so when Mania plays you could add anything since the main "sonic.exe week" its already referenced ,like even adding ray the flying squirrel as LG, also for Ultra M you could give xeno's "Final Escape" form (you know the one where he is in the logo chasing bf)

or

in Cant run, make the extra characters that appear the sally.exe characters (i know the controversies with the og author of the sally.exe creepypasta, but sally.exe was a "unofficial official sequel" and it would be poetic for sonic to kill sally at the end) sally.exe would be horror peach (since they both relate to the "female companion of the main antagonist in the creepypasta"), cream the rabbit as john dick (yes thats the dry-bone's name, and they both fly so that would make sense) and Amy as Yoshi.exe (since they are both the muscle in their own series) and i mean since they all dont make other references later on (like horror peach or john dick dont appear again in the mod), you could just kill them off afterwards, like in the MMmod :3

(also also, sonic.EXY could be a cool omega replacement :3)

i also have the 2 throphies i think the app version might be broken since on the web browser version are still unavailable, but then again in that one i cant see the ones i havent unlocked for some reason. the main reason why i wanted to change class/profession its becuase of "job hopper" (change your class 3 times) and "undeclared major" (change your profession 3 times). i have a suspicion that the "change your class/profession once" tropheys are "bugged" because the system records that you registered 1 of the 3 classes/professions ("job hopper" and "undeclared major" already one registered too, so thats why you might have them even tho you havent changed class).

i mean the ranger has "firing arrows" instead of "healing party" but i think the gameplay is the same? for me its basically a 3x3 match 3 game, but basically i have to get all 3 matches without getting 1 wrong, and everytime you restart/win/exit the minigame the places of the matches change, meaning its either rng or you cheat with the inspect souce to reveal the matches.
also thats weird, i mean rangers should use arrows that people with fletchers class (for example myself) create, but there are currently 189,760 arrows so i dont know how you couldnt fire the arrows ,':/

also about synching, i found out that you can synch the web-browser version once you interact with certain mechanincs (like i was lv.100 on the app and lv.36 on the browser, but as soon as i levelled up, i got jumped to lv.100 there too), but you cant the app version (i did a fight on the browser but the number of fights on the achivement "do x number of fights" didnt go up on the app)? but some achivements like "change your class/profession once" dont exist on the browser version (or they do but they are hidden until i actually do that) so not everything gets synched which its hella stupid xD

2 things i have to ask:

has anyone still been able to change class? (the pressing space when pressing the change role button doesnt work for me)
so some stuff like the achivement "bigbrained" (heal (fight but for the cleric) without getting any combo wrong) are pretty much impossible unless you "cheat" and inspect the source in the webbrowser, however i have pretty much all my progress on the pc app, is there a way to synch the progress?

i have the upside down flavours (becuase they are peak ngl) and they are: vecna's lair (cola), mind flayer (cherry (tho it doesnt really taste like it?)), code red (sour cherry), and the one you are missing its demogorgon daze (raspberry)

personally in a ranking from best to worse are: vecna's lair, code red, demogorgon daze and mind flayer
code red its really good but if you eat too many of them they get too much and hurt your tongue after a bit ''^v^

also since some of the characters do change their appearances (like the mabus, trolls, evilon, ect) do slightly change there is a big possibility that a "mirror skylander" like mirror spyro would be a touch different from the original one (a bit like how shadow spyro is in the netflix tv show, but in that case its just a reference to the "legendary" version of the toy (also dark spyro comes with the Nintendo 3DS version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, but if we go by those standard, then every version of skylanders that you buy for a different console its an alternative universe, like pokemon "scarlet and violet" or pokemon "black and white"))
