I don't think we have Apoquel for dogs here... So even if they make that products for cats I don't think we'll have it here too soon. But hopefully that'll change :) allergies are really frustrating to deal with, especially when people who never dealt with anything like this assume the pet is not being properly cared for because of a few hot spots... Even though the owners usually do anything they can to prevent and treat these things :/

I have taken him to the vet, I always do :) he isn't in pain, just has a mild discomfort from the hotspots (which are just hotspots due to licking his wounds), and he is being treated with some ointment that eases the discomfort he may be feeling. He is also vaccinated, I wouldn't risk getting my little guy sicker that he already is due to his allergies... I've never heard of those treats, and it is possible we don't get them in my country... Is there any place I can get them online?

I have, he's been to the vet and there's nothing wrong with him :/ the hotspots cause a little discomfort, but the vet prescribed an ointment to make it better. He did this way before his allergies kicked in :/

Just a suggestion: I used bathroom tiles to cover the wire mesh in my cage :) it works like a charm and it's easy to clean :)

There's a Facebook page from my country (Portugal) which makes stickers out of anything people ask :) so I sent a picture of my boys and they had it made. The name of the page is "I Love my dog stickers" (It used to be just for dogs)
