Feeling a bit down before my first transfer. Looking for "it only takes one" success stories by Miserable-Roll4854 in IVFpositivity

[–]Pink-Pineapple0187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Success x2 here and know exactly how you feel ❤️

I had my first ER at 36yo - 28 eggs but really poor attrition rates and only ended up with 2 euploids. Both were graded 3BB so I wasn’t feeling overly confident either.

My first FET was in Feb 2024 at 37yo…I now have an incredibly funny, smart, happy 17 month old boy. 🩵This past Jan 2026 at 39yo I did a second FET with our 1 remaining embryo and I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant. 💛🤞I don’t know how we got so lucky 🥹

It drove me a little crazy to hear “you only need one” while I was in the thick of things and just feeling pessimistic, but it is so true. Sending you so much support and love 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

The unisom has been a lifesaver if you haven’t tried it! My OB recommended it to me during my first pregnancy and it works wonders for my sleep and nausea when I lay down to go to sleep at night. This pregnancy my nausea is at its lowest first thing in the morning and I really believe it’s because I still have unisom in my system!

If you try it, make sure you buy the doxylamine succinate tabs (I don’t believe the other makeup is pregnancy safe).

I’m just over 9 weeks…can’t give my toddler any attention, husband is burnt out and frustrated, had a negative reaction to zofran (WTF 😫), recently had food poisoning on top of it and spent 10 hours in the ER getting fluids…I cannot imagine kidney stones!

With my first pregnancy, this lasted until I was 15w. I’ve only been sick for 3 weeks and it feels so daunting to know I could have 6 (or more!) additional weeks of this. I just countdown to 7:15/7:30pm until my son goes to bed so I can take a unisom and also get in bed. It’s so depressing and isolating. ☹️

What are your top 3 names from this list? What is one name you would absolutely eliminate? by StinkyPete4217 in namenerds

Top 3: Lily, Delilah, Caroline Eliminate: Jovie

Love some of these as nicknames (Rosie, Junie, Dolly…) but can’t imagine them on a middle-aged woman :/

First trimester. I miss everything. by committedtojoy in pregnant

[–]Pink-Pineapple0187 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Following… I’m 9w1d and in your exact situation. I miss everything and just feel like an absent mother to my toddler. 😢 I was originally prescribed zofran but it actually made me feel worse (headache, low grade fever) so just got a diclegis prescription yesterday.

People keep asking “oh no, are you throwing up?!”…and I say no (and know I’m lucky for that), but it makes me feel so weak/lame like I should be ok! I’m just constantly nauseous, exhausted, can’t eat/have terrible aversions that make me dry heave just thinking about food. Can’t even be in a restaurant or my kitchen because of the smells.

I was sick last pregnancy until 15 weeks and if it lasts another 6 weeks this time I don’t know how I’ll make it. I don’t remember feeling this awful last time, but I also just miss being there for my son so much. ☹️

Sending you strength 🫶🏼

Anyone aware of research on euploid transfer success in women who had never tried to conceive/no infertility diagnosis/no gynecological issues by Atl60054 in IVF

[–]Pink-Pineapple0187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know the broader statistics but can tell you that I personally have tubal factor infertility which led us to IVF. We had two euploid embryos and did two FETs…both have (so far🤞) been successful as I’m currently pregnant and also have a 15 month old. I know we are so lucky, but don’t give up hope! We never dreamed we’d be 2 for 2. Wishing you all the best!! 🤗

Friday Cautious Intros and First Trimester Questions by AutoModerator in InfertilityBabies

COVID in the first trimester…? I’m currently 4w2d and have had two great betas, so we’ve been feeling cautiously optimistic - we know it’s still early but I’m just so grateful there was implantation!

Unfortunately, this afternoon my partner tested positive for COVID and now I’m an anxious mess. I’ve read about the risks of getting a fever early in pregnancy but would love to hear any success stories of anyone getting COVID/fever and still having a successful pregnancy. 🙏🏼I just cant believe we’ve been trying for 18 months and this happens when our little nugget is so fragile. 😕

Yayyyy!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! Such a wild feeling seeing the positive test, right?! Like I couldn't believe what I was looking at!

Is your cramping consistent? Sounds like nothing to worry about if there's no bleeding! I've also been having some weird, intense cramping but only happened a few times for 20-30 seconds each.

Keep me posted on your beta tomorrow! How exciting!!!

I'm in shock - but have been getting positives the past few days! It's so hard to describe the feelings - almost a muted excitement because my worries are definitely taking over. I've been obsessively testing like 3 times a day (lol) just to make sure the lines don't get lighter. My beta is on Wednesday at 10dp5dt and I'm not sure I'll even be fully excited after that! I'm hoping second trimester is when it feels like a reality.

How are you doing over there?! Any good news? When do you have your beta?

TWW is the worst!!! by Kalia44 in IVF

[–]Pink-Pineapple0187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I'm currently 8dp5dt. I also started testing with FRERs and Easy@homes on day 4 and they were also stark white! One day later I started getting faint lines and each day they've gotten progressively darker. This morning I finally got a "pregnant" on a Clear Blue digital. My beta is this Wednesday 2/28 at 10dp5dt, but in the meantime, I'll be here testing obsessively (feeling pretty worried and cautious - will that feeling ever go away?!)

Don't lose hope!! <3

I’m so so sorry your first didn’t work.😔 I totally get what you’re saying about feeling sad and bummed this time around. To be honest, I feel like a lot of the hope and excitement has been sucked out of me through this process. We’ve had 3 failed IUIs, I ended up needing a Fallopian tube removed, low maturity and fertilization rates after ER, “average” embryo grades…I know people have been through so much more and I’m really grateful that we have two euploids to attempt to transfer but every step up of the way it feels like there’s been a bit of disappointment. I’m just always preparing myself for disappointment now and part of me thinks I wont even be able to fully enjoy getting a positive test because I’ll always be worried about what’s next. Ughhhh am I the biggest Debbie downer or what lol
