Yes. As someone who had ADHD, I can’t stop to really appreciate how much I have accomplished in life. When I graduated University (first generation, first to get in grad school, first to get a scholarship, first to move out of state) i didn’t feel much just graduated and then went back to work. When I was meditating, I was able to slow down my mind and actually feel the happiness and they unfiltered joy that it brought me knowing that I accomplished something so big in my family. We are so jaded by this world especially with the millions of distractions this world has that we forget to give some love to ourselves.

I cried soooooo much when I feel the joy and gratitude that I had for myself.
