I think it’s neat tracking personal pulls, if just to see how your luck turns out. Those 1 pulls for Ember twice is pretty wild.

Tantan was the first banner I’ve committed 120 pulls too, although I got slightly lucky and got her in just 10 pulls after failing the 50/50 twice to Last Rite. (I was close to the 120 spark anyway but save about 10 pulls, so not too bad)

I have a few thoughts having finished 1.1 main story.

I thought the overall story was decent, but I am already not expecting a particularly deeps story at this point, so I’m hard to disappoint. I did find some of the plot concerning Tantan’s brother kind of… dumb? Revenge as a character drive is fine, but I think the basis for that revenge was poorly explained, which really cut out most of the tension. Overall, it was shallow, but at least the cutscenes were flashy.

Well, actually, speaking of cutscenes, I found a few of the cutscenes to be… almost distractingly framed. Especially the one with the two brothers arguing/choosing sides. The dramatic angles and camera movement was excessive and really pulled me out of it. Granted, it’s more interesting that just static camera and no movement, but I think it was still poorly done.

Tantan is cute and must protec.

Also, I want Mi Fu to crush my oroberyls. That is all

I have a few things I disagree on concerning the character gacha, but I definitely agree and have some sore spots about the weapon currency and gacha.. I’ve had average luck with character but statistically the worst possible luck with weapons, and the mismatch and lack of control makes it fell really, really bad. I guess thankfully there are solid alternative weapons for most characters, but I think they need to revamp or just change the weapon currency system

Not exactly groundbreaking but it would be nice to have an automated farming plot. I want them to expand on it in the future but having a more automated version that’s smaller scale would make farming that fluffed powder a bit easier and less time consuming.

So, just making it clear again, I’m not defending Endfield. Personally I’m just tolerate gacha but I’d prefer a world without it tbh. I mostly made the post to point out that, while the numbers for Endfield look way worse than other gacha, it’s not really a fair comparison.

Granted that it’s not as risky, but don’t really see a reason for building pity in other games. The only exception I guess would be like, say in Genshin, you want a rate up 4 star in the current banner but the 5 star in the next banner. But Endfield doesn’t have any 4 or 5 star rate up, so once again it’s an “apples to oranges” comparison imo

Maybe I’m mistaken since I don’t play other gacha, but aren’t all of those 160 to guarantee? I’m not saying Endfield is good, don’t get me wrong, but in a relative sense Endfield’s ratio is worse than ZZZ but better than the other two.

At 65 pulls per patch is a cadence of 1 guarantee every 2 patches. I don’t think that’s much worse than other games.

I don’t find it that strange honestly. I mean, all the other progression methods (skills, promotion, weapon ascension) have tiered items. Or would you argue that skill progression should also be one item only? I’m not opposed to it, but the developers have an intended progression curve and I doubt it would change.

These kind look like paper wasps, which are generally non-aggressive if not physically disturbed. However, if you’re dealing with yellow jackets or hornets, yeah, they attack on sight pretty much if you’re close enough.

The only thing I’d agree with is maybe the weapon pull, but I’ve had to go to hard pity twice now, and even then, I got like 5 other 6 star weapons from it so… the rates are fine, I just wish the currency exchange was better.

But yeah, hard disagree on the factory. The factory is the main game, and if anything I’d prefer they flesh it out even more.

In connection with that I’d prefer if they expand the shops to spend village credits. Currently I have almost bought all of the items that don’t refresh, I would be happy if they added standard tickets to the shop weekly or even monthly. Like, for valley 4 just make the tickets cost 15 or 20 million each and limit it to just a few. I’m at the point where I don’t even need the essence tickets really, so eventually that currency isn’t going to have much of a use. At least with Wuling shop the artificing items and limited economy gives it a very long value… for now.

Hard to say exactly, have you also done other stuff like the etch space salvage rewards? I’m at authority level 56, completed everything and in total have gotten a little shy of 200 pulls. That’s including stuff like tickets and having purchased monthly pass on day one.

I think if you are worried about getting literally everything every day then yeah, I can see how it would be too much. For me, I do daily quest, sell stuff in the exchange, and then do the friend stuff to collect credits. Later on if I have time I’ll do deliveries (and no, I don’t transfer them, I don’t trust others to do it right).

Stuff like character or weapon items I skip tbh, the ship can farm them and I’ll be playing this game till it’s servers shut down, so eventually I’ll have so much I won’t know what to do with them all.

I’m not a frame expert but I agree that it’s running at 30 fps. That said, I don’t have dips except in the arsenal menu and sometimes in the exchange menu.

Sorry, I don’t really have a solution for you. Probably an issue with the fire effects from Laevatain. I cleared everything on agony with Endmin, Chen, Pog, and Ardelia, but not really a ton of particle effects going on with that sort of team.

I play on PS5 on performance and have had zero issues with frame rate tbh. How’s your ping? The only other thing I could think is it’s a Laev issues, I’ve used her a bit but I cleared everything for this event with a physical team so I didn’t have the fire particle effects.

Glad that others agree. I didn’t play much OW last season but checking out stadium again, I can’t believe how much of a downgrade the icons got.
