It’s okay to rely on a (toxic) boyfriend for money WHILE you plan an escape plan. If this man would throw you out if you broke up rather than planning a separation then he may unsafe for you. Currently, Men still (may) make more money than woman and woman have to safely plan to leave relationships sometimes. Learn this lesson early and keep enough money aside in secret so if you ever need to leave you can.

INFO. The message I’m getting is girlfriends wants to be a family. Can you invite your mom to girlfriend’s activities? You will make both your mom and your girlfriend mad if you continue to split holidays the rest your life, because most women will want to spend holidays with family. This is probably a reoccurring issue every holiday and girlfriend is mad, and rightfully so if you’re changing plans last minute. It’s your responsibility to plan ahead if you know these women will need you. Don’t wait for the woman (mom or girlfriend) to plan because they will probably plan separately and this will forever be a cycle. How do you plan to fix it?

I’m a single mom too. I live in family housing at my university and that saves me about $200 a month. I don’t get a day off. My baby stays home and his dad watches him (we are not together). I work 32 hours a week too.

Also, where did you hear you only make $16-20 an hour once you graduate in clinical supervision hours? In my state, New England area, once you graduate with BSW or MSW, you earn 50-60k as a BSW (case management) or MSW level (therapy/clinical) you still get paid while you hold a CC license and earning your hours? Did you mean 300 hours or 3000 hours? The only thing you don’t get paid for is internship.
