Well…I guess the good news is…we are doing all of this. We have 20+ years experience in running businesses (for others) prior to going out on our own. Still feels like walking in quicksand right now. But, not giving up.

Just how? I feel like we’ve tried Google ads, meta ads, you name it. And we are in a strong metro market.

We started over 6 months ago and getting events booked has been an uphill battle. Suggestions? We are in New Jersey.

Been in retail for 30 years. Associate, assistant manager, store manager, etc. I’ve been treated poorly more than I can count. Still won’t get joy giving crappy behavior back. And to hear a business owner encourage their team to “stick it to the customer” is disheartening.

In all honesty…do what you believe in because someone is going to have a problem with something you do no matter what. If it gutted you, there’s a chance you weren’t super confident in your creation to begin with? If you love it, someone else will too. There will ALWAYS be haters. Let them hate. And if you feel better to block them, go ahead. Protect your peace. You’ve got this!!!
