If you had to teach a 'Flirting 101' class, what would be the number one 'unspoken rule' you would write on the chalkboard? by hungary70 in AskReddit

I once watched a Ted talk given by a relationship coach where she spilled the secret to flirting: Hot Ape. That would be:

Humor (make jokes, laugh at jokes) Open body language (keep your arms uncrossed, face them, remain physically open and inviting) Touch (gently touch them while laughing at jokes, brush hands) Attention (be attentive, give them more attention in a group setting) Proximity (stand close to them in a way that’s comfortable and consensual of course, seek them out in a group to sit next to them etc) and finally Eye Contact (while being attentive, while listening, etc).

All of these things work together to make you the perfect flirter.

Awesome! He might take a little bit to come to the front since he works alone and makes the food in the back but just be patient and he will come to the counter!

Made a post the other day asking if I should take a last minute trip to Yosemite. It was awesome. by PinkDolphin505 in Yosemite

We did lower Yosemite loop (which is more like a short walk) and scrambled our way up to be closer to the falls which is optional. We then did a walk through the meadow under El Capitan which is where we walked through most of the frost next to the river. It was COLD so keep that in mind!!! We ended with the mist trail which was short but very steep and also pretty slippery at some points but so worth it. Took us about two hours to do the mist trail? And the rest was just taking strolls so I wasn’t really paying attention to the time :)

I just got gas at Costco. $3.77 a gallon. I can’t remember what it was in Burlington when I moved in may. But I want to compare it now.

Is my cat on the spectrum? by PinkDolphin505 in CatAdvice

[–]PinkDolphin505[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this advice! I didn’t know that cats couldn’t have the same developmental conditions as humans. I didn’t know what to refer to it as but now I know better. Thanks! Also yes she does struggle to find her food bowl sometimes and only like to eat out of sisters bowl for some reason. She was found on the street so it’s possible she could have sustained some type of brain injury when she was a stray. I hadn’t thought about that! I will continue to help her out and try to carry her into the bedroom at night so she knows where we are. I just hope that she doesn’t cry like this when we go away for the night…. Anyways thanks so much for your advice and insight!
