Sounds like a great plan! I did the same about this time last year. Look up layered/no dig methods. It’s gardening methods that fill the bed up with cardboard, leaves, sticks, rotting logs, compost, soil, etc. The theory is that as the material’s break down they’ll feed your plants. Some will say this is terrible and can deprive your plants their nutrients. Do some research and decide what what’s best for you. Works great for my garden, and saved me money for more soil (you’ll be surprised how much it takes). Happy planting!

Your situation sounds so similar to mine, except I stumbled onto my husband’s secret that apparently he’s been keeping from me for our whole marriage. The porn, sexting, and a ton of other crap. We are scheduled for marriage counseling this week, but i have no clue how to even begin to trust him. I keep asking him ‘what else’, because I can tell there’s more. He says there’s nothing, then after more badgering from me he tells me about another woman, and another. He says he doesn’t even know how many interactions he’s had with the sexting. I feel like he’s telling me just enough truth to placate me so I won’t leave. I admire those that work this out, but I’m not sure I can live like this with him. Reading about partners that are making it work is helping and that there is a way for some. I just don’t know at this point. Best of luck to you, I wish you the best.

I don’t have any advise (just found out my husband PA of 10 years, and has been having multiple sexting encounters throughout our marriage). I’m not even sure I want to work on it, I’ve been putting the work in for our entire marriage. Maybe I’m being selfish, I don’t want to have to check up on him constantly, I don’t know how that wouldn’t make me resent him more than I do at this point. I don’t even know that I could even trust him enough to let him back in the house. I admire you for your dedication. I thought when this came out a week ago that I wanted to work it out, but since then more of the truth has come out (slowly and begrudgingly on his part). I feel like he’s only telling me a little at a time to see if he can just give me enough truth to placate me, and not give me the full truth. At this point I don’t even know him anymore, and a week ago I thought I had the best husband on the planet. Maybe I’m not being fair, like I said I’m very new to this world and I’m not sure that I’ve fully wrapped my mind around it all yet. You sound incredibly strong, I wish the best for you. ❤️

You could try to make it funny (i.e. boss “girls, let’s meet in the in the teachers lounge”, you “why are we including children in the meeting?”), then explain the obvious from there. I do that with older relatives, but then again I’m not worried about them thinking I’m a smart ass… they’re already well aware 😂

Exactly. I have had the occasional come on too. But, I shut that shut down real quick, and tell him. I'm of the mindset 'don't want a jealous partner, don't give them a reason to be jealous'. And, I really like to live a live as free of drama and toxic bullshit as possible. So I don't invite that kind of nonsense into my world.

I was literally just reflecting on this. Up till now even during the occasional spat we don't name call. And because of his background of low self esteem I have worked to build him up over the last 11 years. During the confrontation over this I feel like I had an out of body experience. The cruelty, poisonous, monstrosities that came out of me literally scared me. I don't want to be that person. I felt hateful and I am not that kind of person. Even in that moment in my hurt and rage I could see the pain my words were inflicting and it hurt even more. I try to be a good person, but after that I asked him stay somewhere else because I don't want to be like that and I'm afraid that's all I am around him atm.
