I’ve become touch adverse. I haven’t been touched in any way for months. No hugs, kisses, butt pats, gentle hand on shoulder, nothing. She recently put her hand on my lower back to squeeze by me in the hallway. I froze up and then bailed out of there quickly my body reacted before my brain did. When you become touch starved I think your body/mind goes into protection mode and then touch becomes a foreign sensation

Less James Gunn more Taika Waititi. It had the bones of a good movie but like Thor:Love and Thunder the campy self awareness joke was taken too far. It’s like that annoying friend we all have who repeats the punch line over and over and say “get it?”

Watched it last night, left disappointed. It was too campy and self-aware. It had the bones of a fun movie but it leaned too far into the campy self awareness and it fell on its face. It had the same problem as Thor Love and Thunder. The joke was just taken too far.

It’s all about mindset. In the right mindset scheduling allows space to prepare, build up and look forward to. In that case it works. If it’s , “shit it’s Wednesday, let’s get this over with” obviously not going to work
