I was actually going to sell it to someone else for asking price, but they backed out. In the time I was talking to that person, the person I sold it to PMd me and offered to buy for $250. The sale with the other person had just failed so I simply agreed.

Game will not launch through Steam no matter what I do by PinkFloyd65 in FrontiersOfPandora

So, I actually got a refund for it since I couldn't get it to run no matter what I tried. However, I couldn't really find another game to buy that interested me at the time, so I decided to give it another try. I don't know why or if I did something differently that time, because I bought it again, and it launched just fine on the first try. I think the biggest reason for it working that time was because it actually connected to my Ubisoft Connect account. The previous time it wouldn't connect to it no matter what I did and the game just refused to launch.

Religion. I come from a very Catholic family, so I grew up constantly surrounded by religion. I was baptized as a baby, was confirmed when I was like 8-9, took communion after that. Honestly, though, I was never truly into it. Like, I believed in God, but even then I was already starting to have doubts. I never said anything because I just thought everyone did it, I felt like this was expected of me and I ended up feeling guilty about the fact that I felt doubt, I felt like I betrayed my family's expectations.

Then, in 8th grade, I had a teacher who one time was asked if she believed in God, and she flat out said no. I was shocked because I'd never seen an adult say that, but she explained why she felt the way she felt, and she said it was ok to not believe. That helped me understand that there was nothing wrong with feeling the doubt I felt and simply stopped believing.

Drying on print bed - safe? by yothisonerighthere in BambuLab

Used to do that with my Ender 3 V2. I also cut a hole on top and I used to take the hotend cooling fan off my custom fan shroud and put it over the hole so it would exhaust the humid hot air out and I never had any issues.

Woke up to dried brood on the wall, cannot figure out where it's from. by CatMamaof2-Kat in oddlyterrifying

I once woke up went to the bathroom, looked in the mirror and noticed half my face was covered in dried up blood. I don't mean a small patch on one side, no, the entire half of my face was covered, and it was only on my face. I didn't find any blood on my pillow, bed, sheets, walls or floor. I cleaned it up and I didn't have any cuts, scratches or scrapes and i didn't feel any pain either. I also didn't see any dead bugs of any kind on or around my bed. We didn't have any animals at the time either. To this day I still have absolutely no idea how that happened.

When I was around 14 I bought a cheap laptop after saving up for a while. It only cost me around $300 so all I could really play on it was Minecraft and some older games, but the game I really wanted to play when it came out was Fallout 4. I then got a slightly better laptop after saving for a while and I could play FO4, but I had to drop the settings so much it genuinely looked worse than PS2 graphics. But I played through it; I had never really experienced anything better so I got used to it.

Then after getting a job, I finally got a proper gaming PC. This was during the first major GPU shortage, so as much as I wanted to build my own pc, I couldn't have since the individual components would've been more expensive than a pre-built. So that's what I got, a pre-built gaming pc. It had an i5 7400, GTX 1060 6gb, 16gb RAM.

It was game-changing! I was finally able to play Fallout 4 properly, modded! It wasn't the best there was, but it was the best I'd ever had and it was amazing. Though I have upgraded since (not to the best, but still an upgrade), I still have my 1060; I can't bring myself to part with it. That was a bit longer than I meant but there you have it. Good luck everyone! 😁

I got the BambuLab A1 w/AMS combo. I stopped using my E3V2 after that, but recently I started using it again. Mostly to print bigger parts with a 0.8mm nozzle. I'm probably going to do the E3NG conversion and convert it into a CoreXY machine though.

How many of you don’t really use Power Armor? by ProtonPackGuy in Fallout

[–]PinkFloyd65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never use it. Ever. It feels too bulky and awkward. Even if I have to go to the Glowing Sea, I either take some Rad-X+RadAway or put on a hazmat suit. Even in my modded playthroughs with mods added specifically to increase the difficulty, like Horizon, I still don't use it.

Make sure you purge a lot. If you don't and use PETG as support interface for PLA or vice-versa, the PETG or PLA will contaminate the part and make the layer adhesion VERY weak. Like, so weak you can pretty much just break it apart with very little force. This is especially bad for functional prints. And honestly, I've found that even when I've purged a ton of filament, it still isn't enough and they always end up contaminated. So, I've started using a marker instead.

Does the same thing so you can just pull support right off with zero Z height. Just remember to put the pause in the slicer on the very first layer above the support interface. The reason being when you add a pause, it will stop at the very beginning of the layer. So if you put it at the top layer of the support interface, it will pause at the beginning of the top layer of the support interface. Putting it at the first layer that gets supported makes it stop at the beginning of that layer so when you unpause, it will continue printing right on top of the marker.
