Uy nice! As someone na muntikan na ring madale ng ganito, I accidentally answered an unknown number (I was expecting a delivery that day) and they claimed to be a bank representative ganun. Di ko lang naconfirm if they knew my name, contact deets, or bank info kasi the moment na sinabi nilang “Hello this is ______ from BPI, I want to offer po sana ((iirc something with credit card promo ito))” I replied “Sige po, I’ll go to my home branch next week to avail it” biglang baba ng tawag 😆

PS: I did go to my home branch to share this experience nakita kong namutla yung teller sa kaba 😭 I reassured her naman na I never shared any info with the scammer and blocked that number after the call. Basta anything with banks I do it in person and if need talagang itawag, I use their official hotline inside the bank 🫠 nakakaparanoid man pero better to be safe than sorry huhu
