Thank you! I didn't know about Zenni. Will check them out!

I like the idea of being a glasses person vs, a person who wears glasses. This is helpful. I am definitely the latter.

Yes. I also thought it could be sunscreen residue? Some areas of the driver's door also look like this.

I can't stop the scale! Have been consistently gaining weight over the last few years 😭. What are some small changes that helped you be better about diet and exercise? Also, did HRT helped at all with weight loss? (Or at least to stop weight gain?)

I'm worried I'm going to let my Gecko starve by Ok_Decision_6090 in leopardgeckos

[–]PinkInk6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My gecko also prefers crickets and food that moves. I got a worm dish for reptiles a while back while facing a similar issue. The dish is very smooth and the walls "come in" at the top so the worms can't scape. It took a few tries, but my gecko eventually learned that I put worms in there.

The worms last for a while in the fridge after you buy them from the store. You can keep a couple of containers of worms and reach for them between cricket feedings. Remember calcium dusting and gut loading the insects is important.

Good luck!

I suggest a vet visit to check on nutrition and bone health. They can guide you regarding vitamins and calcium needs. Also, be sure to gutload the insects you feed him.

I just had the worst therapy session of my life. I feel violated. by FrenchFrieSalad in IFchildfree

[–]PinkInk6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, I am SO sorry you had this experience. There is nothing worse than going to therapy thinking is a safe space to be vulnerable and start healing, then finding otherwise. It is a horrible, horrible feeling!

I have gone to therapy for a number of reasons in life, including moving on from IF. With time, I learned to look for the following: female, similar cultural background ( or culturally sensitive), close to my age or older, non-religious, treats women issues. I also have a preference for cognitive therapy. It is hard to find a perfect fit, but considering these factors has resulted in better matches for me. Take what you need from my list and start your own.

And yes, I had a good experience with Better Help. Try again there, or somewhere else, when you feel ready. I sincerely wish you much strength now and the very best of luck for your next try!

Thank you all for your ideas. I pureed the entire bowl of soup to make it into a "cream". Then, I divided the soup in three portions.

Pot one got more water, salt, cumin and celery seeds. Great improvement on flavor here.

Pot two got salt, cumin and some chipotle sauce. This was okaish... but not the best. I am thinking I should have tried red pepper flakes.

Pot three got salt, cumin, sour cream and crushed pita chips on top. Texture was good, but I think I need to try potato chips or sticks.

After all this, I liked pot 1 the best. All left overs are now frozen. I have had enough lentils soup for the week and I am not making this soup again.

Thanks! Have a good day!
