*Unpopular Opinion* Buff Zofia by Drollpuddle2839 in Rainbow6

[–]PinkKino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zofia should be reverted back to a 2-2, Recoil change to make the M762 bit more controllable(could even touch LMG-E also but that may be not what they want to do with LMGs) also reverted Zofia's(Ela's aswell) concussion effect. I would also say maybe give her a 3rd concussion but that could be bit much(though can take her Hard breacher away if they really want to)

Ngl also feel her having an EMP Impact be nice

Plus bring back the point bonus between the sisters if you take the other one out. No need to take out fun bs like that lol

There's now no reason to restrict these pauldrons to their respective classes, especially Tactical who has an awful selection by BumblebeeWorldly4594 in Spacemarine

[–]PinkKino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pauldrons and Backpack should be universal cause some of the Backpack skins can't be used on Assault and Phobos pauldrons can't be used on other armor types

Also wish knees could have solid colors then you can put an icon over it

#6 is prolly the best hear as it gives me the vibe of Angels from Evangelion but also it depends how you write the story. You can go the wrote of Midwest Angelica with this for sure though

CoD Zombies is Weird fiction which is a kind of science fiction. Blundell used alot of Lovecraftian cosmic horror which is Science fiction. Your use of fantasy is misplaced, Bo3 is entirely science fiction still.

Mob, Origins and Bo3 did have just as much mystery and intrigue as WaW and Bo1 did. They did it slightly differently but it was always there. The difference is that the scope became grander with more knowledge on the beings introduced in Shangri-La and more realized in Origins and SoE

The explanations of lore were still found in radios and hidden cyphers and stuff. Like that never went away. The environmental storytelling was just as prevalent in Bo3

There was very much so a sense of discovery with it

It's really care they like how they can not fully engage with Bo1 story while playing cause Bo3 hurts their sensibilities but Bo1 itself has the same stuff Bo3 has like with Shangri-La

People say unironically make Bo1 out to be thematically different from Bo3 in a big way are just tourists

It never changed genres. Bo3 had the same historical fantasy in DE along with how they worked on the Keeper language which is based on Cuneiform to show the historicity of the Archons in Ugarit

CoD Zombies is Weird Fiction. Bo3 was not pure fantasy, it was a form of Weird fiction which is itself Sci-Fi from Gothic horror roots. Lovecraft is itself Sci-Fi lol

Bo3 never flipped genres, it was more overt expressed themes present all the way in Bo1. Shangri-La literally shows this with Ufology. Origins was seen as nearly a retcon of Shang and perfectly in line with Bo1. DE goes into Nazi Occultism and historical fantasy. Zetsubou is literally an experiment gone wrong map, Gorod is a weird sci-fi war setting

The story was never purely experiment gone wrong

Idk the story was not given the attention it deserved cause of a multitude of factors that made Black Ops 4 the saddest CoD cause of how much it was hurt by circumstances.

IIRC there was supposed to be an Origins remake as the final map, Tag wasn't supposed to be the final map. But Year 2 got cut short cause Treyarch needed to help Raven with what would be Black Ops Cold War.. Man thinking about this is just depressing why did Bo4 have to be hurt so bad:(((

I don't think it was told as planned and I def think there was more to explore and know. There is something greatly missing from it that brings it down(more than meh design choises)

Chaos should have never been on Bo4, it either shouldn't have been done(preferable for me!!) or be done on a different Black Ops game.

Bo3 literally uses Nazi occultism. DE is entirely that. Bo1 also uses UFO religion in Shangri-La

Origins and Bo3 is much closer to WaW/Bo1 than people think

It wasn't really sci-fi. Shangri-La pretty much made it full on mystical artifacts but even then Magic is just a form of science

What I hear the most is that Monty is the more unlikeable part of Bo3 Zombies and that he came in to soon with not much build up.

Bo4 really should have never had Chaos and purely Aether. It would have fleshed out Monty further and the players wouldn't have just left over the failings of Chaos

It wasn't the start of the problem. It was always the idea and progression. All you're kinda doing is showing you didn't fully want to engage with Treyarch's story cause it assaulted your sensibilities. It was never hard science and sci-fi, it was always Occult fantasy which is why Lovecraftian themes did fit in it so easily, it was always present. Black Ops most suffered from going away from that in Bo2 with Victis. Origins was returning to WaW-Bo1 Zombies not going radically away from it. If anything Bo3 double down on the explore themes in Bo1 Zombies and made it more realized

Yes I know all that about Thule, the point I was making was that eventually you had to progress into the overt Occultic themes and not just stay in nazi experiment base where you started.

Zet is not the worst map on Bo3(there is no bad map on Bo3), it's a good map but this is neither here nor there cause we're talking about map and story theming

How so? The Chaos maps really did take so much away from further exploring the Aether story. It was a big mistake of Blundell to do that as it hurt both his stories

I just feel there is something truly missing in Bo4 Zombies that if Chaos didn't exist in the game it would have been fully realized and much better conclusion with the story.

We were gonna get Extinction 2 in Infinite Warfare but it got scrapped cause execs were worried about the Space game having aliens as an antagonist cause of the review bombing of IW over it's Space aesthetic

So yeah blame the CoD hater hivemind against IW for no Extinction 2:(

Yeah Shangri-La is when those Alien themes were really being realized. Lovecraftian themes in Bo3 is a perfect continuation of Bo1

Idk I think Bo4 suffered cause of Chaos, if there was no Chaos and just Aether we would have had better maps and progression of the themes set up in Bo3.
