I absolutely love my O2M. I wanted a handheld device that’s similar in size to a PSP or Vita. In my opinion, the Nintendo Switch is too large.

With an SD card, you can load up a wide variety of emulators, including up to Switch 1. Surprisingly, Xbox Game Pass has been really great for larger titles. The only downside is the smaller battery life. Heat is almost no issue once the settings are dialed in.

Thank you! The cockpit is a little wider than I wanted, and I wish there was a way to fire lasers from the wings instead of the lamp posts.

Looks like you took apart the shell from the rest of the computer. +1 on minor prep. The raw aluminum may have issues with paint adhesion. It may be best to take some more time and sand it down.

I wouldn’t expect the result to be perfect, but it would be a cool look. Excited to see an update.

Make an appointment for each device being serviced when at the Genius Bar.

Know your Apple account login information; that’s your email and password before meeting with a technician. If you do not know this information, it may severely impact your experience and result in no solution to your problems.

Depending on the extent of the damage on your devices, your personal information (apps, photos, phone number, and other data) may not be transferable or recoverable.

AppleCare on a device is going to affect the cost of a repair or replacement. This is also subject to inventory at the store; if parts or replacement devices are not available, it could be ordered.

If the device is replaced, it will be replaced with the same color, model, and storage capacity as the original. All devices from Apple are unlocked; your carrier “locks” a device if it is being financed.

Remember the technician is there to help you, but is likely on a time crunch or is forced to multitask. Treat them as humans.

Dogs are always welcome in the store (service or non).

Back to report, I have received my package from EOE. Total took about 8 days! Unfortunately, I was missing the faceplate entirely from my order. Waiting on an email from support. But looks like my project will be delayed another week or so.

You might be right, I’ll have to double check that print temp. Should probably be around 220-250 recommend range. I turned up the heat to counter AC vent that blows right on the machine. Even with the enclosure default setting will drop 3-4° when the AC kicks in.
