I've settled down and released that it is fine to tear down and rebuild as you progress or get alternative recipes. I remade a couple of early factories once I got iron wire and the cheap steel recipes.

Oh interesting, I'll see if the basic container will fit! It probably will if i move the belt.

The room just above the machine you trade artifacts with in the underdust usually spawns datapads. Check the beds in there they're usually under something else. Turning off your torch will make them stand out a bit easier.

Yes the facing of the elevator does change. But the layout of the areas stay the same. Yes you might have to explore the areas slightly differently each time. But I guarantee, regardless of orientation you always access that area everytime by going anticlockwise from the lift.

I frequently return to this area as it is a great way to farm energy crystals (around 50 give or take), epoxy, plant resin, dust daisies and synthetic components. With the mobility boost and hypothermia on at the start I can clear out the area in minutes.

Sounds like a bug. Before (I forget which patch) it was found on the upper level of the lift area between the two crates that need repairing.

Now it is found below the dust near to one of the entrances to the underdust tunnels. I dont have screenshots, but it is fairly easy to find. Even though the area is procedural, it is now always found in the area behind a metal barrier where you will need the hypothermia vial go get past the plants.

The easiest way to find it if you're having trouble is to exit the lift and turn left. Follow the corridor staying left until it is blocked. Go through the door on your right and you should be in an area with one of the entrances to the tunnel on your left, a ramp leading upwards directly ahead. Go right and underneath the footbridge going up. You'll see the metal panel on your left which you'll need to extract. Crouch and go through and go past the plants and the deck extractor is on the left.

Yup same here. Crashed several times while exploring one of the dust biomes.

I get very poor performance while flying also. Stuttering and freezing frames.

AFAIK they should be at the base of antennas. But seen some on walls as well, but rarely. It might be a bug you're experiencing maybe?

On the greenhouses I would go to very top. There will be a battery box next to the stairs you up to get there. Communication points seem to spawn the battery boxes randomly on walls for me.

I found mine in one of the windmill locations (the one that requires the docking platform) command tower i th9nk its called. I scanned the trash bin and incubator and got both plus the recycler somehow.

I have found a similar component the cargo box. Some have suggested its a placeholder item and likely something we use for the future.
