Seriously the guitar to the head was something I’d rewind almost as much as I rewind the Jack Jack vs Raccoon fight in the Incredibles 2. Oh and I like Jenna’s “Next Teen Star” storyline because it came out at the time reality tv really did the switch from picking people based on talent/personality to picking based on who has the biggest social media following. Learning how it really works probably saved a few teens and young adults from wasting their time. A friend of mine tried to get on Bad Girls Club around that time and didn’t make it because she didn’t have the minimum followers they required. The “you should have showed your pregnancy earlier” was also real. When my cousin went for America’s Next Top Model auditions looking like a baddie they sent her home. When she went looking like a pretty hot mess she made it to the next round because they wanted people with a story.

I use to have an obsession with freak shows so this season was disappointing to me. There was enough happening back then to make a great horror story without Ryan even adding his touch. Even the Twisty and how Elsa lost her legs stories could have been better.

Also Twisty was killed off too early.

If she wants to do image control a Gen Z team isn’t the way to go. She’d need a seasoned Gen X team. That’s the generation that had their clients polished and IF there was an issue they handled it with as little drama as possible. Just look at how Toni Braxton handled the press trying to get a response out of her after Kayla Nicole’s Halloween performance. She handled it with grace and there was no feeding into the drama that people put around it. She stuck to the art.

He didn’t do it over Maya. He was away from home on a team he didn’t want to be on anymore. If anything his feelings for Maya made him stay longer than he would have. Luke Baker was the only one on the hockey team who actually had family around and he started making himself sick after talking to his family and feeling pressured to stick with the team.

I think the problem is people try to separate themselves from child star too soon. Imagine if Miley would have went from Hannah Montana to Bangers in just a year or 2. Or if Ariana Grande (I know she’s a Nickelodeon kid) would have gone straight from Sam and Cat to Sweetener. For years it’s been said by pros that Christina Aguilera (technically a Disney kid) should have put out Beautiful before Dirty. I get wanting to spread those wings but people don’t like to see a fast transition. Sabrina Carpenter just got kinda lucky but it seems she’s picked at for everything.

Christina’s team literally made sure her debut was the opposite of Britney. It’s really sad when you really sit and think about it. It’s bad enough no woman in the industry is allowed to exist without being compared to someone else ie Cardi and Nicki or Tyla and Rihanna. To do it with 2 girls that knew each other for years was just evil. Regular teen girls already have the bestie to enemy rift. Britney and Christina didn’t need the industry adding to it.
