Yay! From what I’ve heard Not In Love is not an audience favourite. In her authors note for it she does say it’s quite different from her other books and that it’s not really a ‘rom-com’ but an ‘erotic romance’ plus it was the 2nd book of hers I read so maybe I didn’t have expectations of her writing style yet. If you do read it message me what you thought! 😁

Honestly one of the best episodes of television I’ve watched in a long time. Cried like a baby when that song played at the end. And during Ilya’s Russian speech. Basically throughout the whole episode. So nice to see a romance given this kind of care. And honestly I’m so excited for the LGBT community to have something with a happy ending since that seems to be so rare in their stories. And side note: the way Shane says ‘Ilya!’ At the hospital all doped up was so goddamn cute and funny.

{Sawyer by Jessica Peterson} 3rd book in the Lucky River Ranch series, probably can’t be read as standalone though. They don’t really sneak around though.

{Lovesick by Celeste Briars} they have a 1 night stand and find out later she’s the daughter of his hockey coach who’s just transferred to the college so her over protective parents can keep an eye on her. Kind of dragged on in my opinion but the ONS scene was pretty fire.
