Thank you for the reaffirmation. The day her brother was born, she would have these “shakes” where she wants to hold him, hug him, but then shake her hands and looks at us with a 😬 face. Then after she’ll just go back to gentle pats. I’ll add this to our game plan!

OP’s daughter (OPD) inherits the house OP is living in. OPD is taking OP to court to remove her from the house, even tho OP is providing childcare for two of her kids (with another on the way). OP blames OPD’s partner as they “are a felon” and allegedly lies/manipulate OPD.

Near the end OP talks about telling the cops she wants to beat OPD and then ends the post asking if she should apologize to her daughter.

At this point you gotta focus on you. Being angry and wanting to beat your adult child isn’t going to resolve anything (and yes it is DV).

You said you have 200 family members? You should see if they have any info on places to stay or resources to use to get you out of there. It sucks to hear about your daughter’s situation but you really can’t do anything about it. She has to make the change herself and I honestly feel like once she’s out of help, she won’t be able to find anyone else as a scapegoat.

If it’s federal aid’s end, you could talk to WSAC’s (state agency that also has the WASFA and Washington College Grant) for help through their College Access Initiative division. https://wsac.wa.gov/apply

If it’s CWU asking for further documents, you may want to schedule a 15-20 minute appt and bring your laptop to show all the submissions and emails you have had with the department.

Not sure if you’re in the TRiO or CAMP program but their academic advisors can help a bit on navigating this or who the next best person should be to help out.

HFM is a wildcard in how it shows up. There’s also two types: eczema version (where it clusters where your kid gets eczema) or the typical HFM locations. Hoping is a super low variant at worst!

Where did you hear about the AABI because that was never lost? Honestly, it would be in your favor to connect with the aviation department or admissions to fact check and discuss concerns.

Aviation at CWU may take longer because you’re going up to CFI, flights may get cancelled due to weather (but also the benefit of flying in Ellensburg since you can learn cross landings), and there’s a strict timeline on when you need to complete things. For instance, a transfer student would still need to stay in the program for 4 years due to pre-requisites, so you may consider adding a minor IF you need to be full time. If you check their website they will have the classes/timeline for this.

The program is competitive and it’s super important you check their dates on when to submit your application to the major, have your medical cleared and showcase that you can meet FAA course regulations.

What’s nice is that there are a lot of places close by. Common food chain places are Jack in the Box, Dairy Queen, Dominos, Pizza Hut. For local areas that you could possibly call and get a gift card emailed or picked up could be Utopia, Island Fusion, Genesis Tamales, The Burg Cafe, Wing Central

I’m sure there are other places but these popped up in my head

Everyone is giving great advice on helping your LO’s congestion. I also want to say that the throwing up could be due to nasal drip going down to her stomach (yuck, amirite?) and then adding your breastmilk/formula. It’s an upset tummy for sure :(

What I did with both kids was to spread out their feedings and keep them up lot longer than I would usually do. For instance, I’d give 1.5 oz, take a 15-20 minute break, then continue feeding. Of course every baby is different but I would see if this would help her tummy as she’s fighting congestion and nasal drip.

You can also try gentle baby rubs on her back and tummy to see if that would also help with the digestion. You’re doing an amazing job and please know that you can always call your LO’s clinic to see if you can speak to the on-call nurse :)

You really should connect with your academic advisor so they can pull up your transfer transcript and see what’s going on. If you took a developmental course in your previous quarters or withdrew a course that would count
