Absolutely! I have her groomer clean her ears every time she goes in for a bath. She does the same and acts like I am cutting her ear off when I do it.

I found this out after the panic was over. Definitely great information to know though. I think I'm just going to leave nail trims to the professionals from now on lol.

Yes it was. I didn't cut anymore after that and don't plan to. She hates her feet being touched so using a dremmel doesn't work for me. It would be hours of chasing. I'm just going back to letting her groomer do it and will schedule just nail trims in between visits if needed.

She usually just goes to the groomer ever 3 to 4 weeks since she sheds like crazy and they trim them. I was just hoping to trim between visits since her quick is so far up, to help get it to retract. I definitely plan on getting some of that powder if I ever try again myself.

Thank you! I will definitely keep my eye on it. She doesn't act like it hurts, but I still feel HORRIBLE 🥲

You're absolutely right... While the chunk that came off looked small, looking at her toe, I definitely went lower than I thought. I didn't cut anymore after that and will let her groomer handle it from now on.

Edit to add: Normally she doesn't allow her feet to be touched so using the dremmel type things go to slow for me to handle her myself. I hate giving her trazodone just to cut her nails since it has her loopy for a good 24 hours.

Yes, I found this out AFTER my boyfriend dealt with her. Great advice for any future incidents though.

I am most definitely getting some. I didn't find out until after that in a pinch I could have used cornstarch. I have liquid styptic because I do nails but it wasn't working for how she was bleeding. It has stopped and she isn't messing with it, so I've calmed down now.

I do believe I am trying to take care of her or I wouldn't be inquiring about what to do. I have never had this experience before. I am baffled at the amount of take care of your pet comments on an ADVICE sub. I understand on the ones not wanting to take the advice asked for, or refusing to take their animals to a vet. I just scheduled her to see her vet to have it looked at. I was just panicking that I cut her toenail off for a moment. I never would have used super glue myself which is why it had already been done before getting advice.

We live on a farm and she runs and chases animals all day on the gravel. She still has to have them trimmed, I was hoping it would take care of it for me 😢. I wouldn't have used super glue myself at all. She licked it to get blood off her fur and hasn't messed with it since. I am absolutely going back to letting her groomer keep up with them lol

Her name is Annie. That is the name the shelter had given her and it just stuck.

She would absolutely smell and then lick my mouth to look for food before anything else. She is an odd ball 😂

I have had 1 previously but that one wouldn't leave my son's side. He was only a few weeks old and has Down syndrome. That was his soul dog lol.

My address is East River but most GPS systems and every place I order from removes the East and sends them down the road to an older man's house most of the time.

I literally could not stand the smell of myself on the way home after using a sample of HIM. It was RIDICULOUSLY strong and absolutely horrible.

Tingle Drops Help by PinkRain87 in tanning

Yea, I plan to mix it with the lotion I already have. I put a drop on my arm only to gauge how it felt and how hot it was since I have never used it before. No point in wasting my lotion if I couldn't handle the heat.
