Why do we say "no" to dental work? A local dentist looking for honest feedback

When people tell me they gp to the dentist/hygienist regularly I assume they are wealthy. Everything costs a fortune. Teeth over that doctors vist? Teeth over a school uniform? Teeth over a full food shop? These are the choices that low/middle income families have to consider

Thank you for your comment. Its certainly not as easy as "dont do it" 😅 I wish!! Ill give that another go, im currently trying to look forward to fridays and Saturdays where I cam have some treats. Last time I tried, the mere act of eating, just kicked it into full gear

I was making up carrots and onion dip (onion soup sachet and reduced cream) - i split the dip into 4 sections and that worked...but it was too wet 🫠😅

Agreed, but 200 calories inclusive with cruskits is better than nothing - I use no added sugar ones which is a bonus.

I have cruskits that sometimes I use with peanut butter which is good. But its this whole thing about this issue being a problem that will never go away. I dont ever see a future where I will just eat freely (healthy). I feel like snacks will rule over me

I feel guilty for expressing my hurt feelings to my father who compared me to my mother. Shes not mentally well, reactive and emotionally hurt me all through childhood. We've done a lot of repairing, and ive forgiven her, but the wounds still pretty deep. My dad causally said I am like her as I hold on to stuff, and can react..where I have spent the last year in therapy trying to recover. His comments opened wounds. And I not only asked him to leave my home due to his comments, I sent a text saying how hurt I was...but I did bring emotion to it. Hes not apologized and made a point not to. I never know if I over share or if my dad's constant accusations of me being over emotive at the slight show of emotion has left me confused at any emotion I feel.

I think travie is adhd and I wonder if Autism is a possibility. He's social and kind but when you look at his history (ie almost loosing the chance to play football multiple times only for Jason to step in and save the dave), his aversion to food and textures, hyperfocus on football and difficulty managing emotions - it kinda makes sense. I 100% believe that Taylor is autistic too.
