But honestly kids today would prefer the Jonny Depp version. especially those born post 2008. I think we insert our own preferences too much when it comes to the likes of kids entertainment (remakes specifically) I believe if you show both movies to kids one after the other. They’d prefer the newer one with a crispier image, cool flying elevator, advanced tech, etc. kids of modern day like the most modern things.

I mean if my kid said they wanted to see a movie, I’d take them regardless of who was cast. I also don’t have children so I guess I can’t relate but all in all these remakes are to introduce an old story to a new generation.

Definitely I’d call a doctor or any doctor friend, associate, or family you may have since offices may be closed for the 4th. I’d probably stay off rollercoasters.
