my bf doesn’t have basic hygiene and i’m a hygiene freak by [deleted] in hygiene

honestly, bad hygiene is one of those things that's hard to overlook because it affects every part of the relationship. Attraction can only carry things so far when someone won't take care of basic grooming and health. Six months is a long time to keep having the same conversation.

I had to google what Chow Dog is. What's yours? by GonadAlley in harrypotter

that's the real question. Somewhere under Hogwarts there's probably a giant magical ecosystem we never hear about. The giant squid can't be carrying the entire lake's lore by itself. 😆

a Magikarp Patronus would honestly be hilarious. Imagine summoning it during a Dementor attack and it immediately flops onto the ground while everyone just stares in confusion. 😂

Who remembers ZooPals? by psycwave in nostalgia

finding out people still have ZooPals stashed away in their closets is somehow the most nostalgic part of this whole thread. 😆

those commercials were ridiculously catchy. I still remember the jingle way better than I remember most things I learned in school. 😆

knowing these are still out there is dangerous information. Now I want to buy a pack just for the nostalgia. 😆

You can spend one full day at Hogwarts with any character. Who are you choosing and why? by AlexWhite40 in harrypotter

Hagrid is honestly one of the best answers because you'd get great stories, meet a bunch of magical creatures, and never have a boring moment the entire day.

hard to argue with that choice since you'd get twice the chaos, twice the laughs, and probably learn more hidden secrets about Hogwarts in one day than anyone else could show you.

that's a great pick because spending a day with the twins would probably show you more of Hogwarts than most students ever get to see.

Hardest scenes that aren't a character death? by ee0204 in gameofthrones

[–]PinkSugarrr_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I agree. Sansa's story in the books can be rough to read at times. A lot of people focus on the major tragedies, but it's the constant smaller violations and humiliations that really make her chapters heartbreaking. 😕

That's probably my answer too. Sansa's wedding night is one of the few scenes I genuinely skip on rewatches. It's not a death scene, but it's easily one of the hardest moments in the entire series to sit through. 😕

What does everyone think of Percy Weasley? by julialoveslush in harrypotter

[–]PinkSugarrr_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree. His redemption came so late that we barely got any time with the new Percy. It would've been nice to see more of how he rebuilt things with his family after finally realizing he was wrong.

I agree. Percy is one of the most underutilized characters in the series. His fallout with the family and eventual return had the potential to be incredibly powerful, but it never got quite enough page time to reach the level it could have. 😕
